Examining Alice

Chaper one -

- January 23, 2015 Milan, Italy where the world renown scientific laboratory lies. Many projects are currently being looked into by the head scientist, Dr. Marious Palaszewski, who has discovered and confirmed many of the worlds greatest wonders. Palaszewski is in his late 40's he has mysterious blue eyes and dark gray hair on that ran across the sides of his head. Wearing a long white scientist coat with jeans and a black tank top underneath. His assistant David Hanson has been by his side since high school where they were often each others lab partner. Hanson is in his early 30's he has light brown eyes and dull brown hair that lightly grazed the top of his forehead. Hanson often wore a white dress shirt and dark grey dress pants.

- While working on a current theory suggesting a new planet has arrived in the universe a loud beeping noise reflected across the laboratory.

"What's happening" exclaimed assistant Hanson

"The research lab, we need to get there quickly." Dr. Palaszewski said in reply.

The two swiftly advance to the research room where a young girl is tied to a lab table. The girl looks to be around the age of twelve years old. She has long blond hair and dark brown eyes that look closer to the shade of black. The young girl is moving in an odd way.

"What's going on here Doc" Hanson said with a worried tone in his voice.

"Advanced genetic patterns, abnormal functioning brain cells, unrecognized activity in the immune system" Palaszewski explained.

Hanson proceeds to writing down several results on a clipboard as Palazewski continues to examine the body. The young girl starts shaking massively while tied to the table.

"Doc genetic activity is off the charts" said Hanson

"Shut it down!" Palaszewski exclaimed

"but.." 

"I said shut it down Hanson!". 

Assistant Hanson proceeds to shutting down the systems and putting the girl back to sleep. "It's late Hanson get some sleep we will discuss this in the morning" Palaszewski said as he turned the lights out and proceeded to his office.

 - The next morning assistant Hanson is asleep at his desk with papers spread all over his office. Dr. Palaszewski walks in the office and wakes Hanson up 

"looks like you've cleaned up in here" Palaszewski said jokingly.

Hanson lifts his head further with a light smile on his face "I'll get to it later, Doc these findings are amazing, looks like possible genetic modification." Hanson stated

"That's what's scary Hanson, these are no modifications, she was born this way." The doctor said correcting his assistant

"Well how did she end up here?" Hanson asked.

"Eleven years ago at the age of one Alice Morgan was declared dead, some kind of heart attack. By some miracle she came back to life, but this was no miracle there was complications because of an advanced immune system she sent here for further examination."

"Why are we just checking this out now"

"It should have taken longer, her body in unable to handle the genetic activity waking her up at this point could kill her, or us. We must proceed to out previous studies, Alice is not ready to be examined as of yet." Dr. Palaszewski said.
