Chapter 1

Lucy's POV

     As I entered the guild doors, I didn't bother to greet everyone in the guild.. they'll just ignore me like I'm invincible or something. I sat at my usual table at the back of the guild when Laxus and Raijinshu showed up. "Hey Lulu, we're going on a mission. Want to go with us?" Bixslow asked me. "Nah guys, I've been going with you for a while now. Maybe it's time for you guys to have a bonding time" I said with a smile. "You sure?" Laxus asked and I just nodded. Evergreen hugged me and Bixlow, Freed, and Laxus just patted my head before they leave.

To be honest, I'm still waiting for Team Natsu to ask me to join them for a mission. But right now, I know that's not going to happen since they always ask Lisanna instead of me. I also can't believe that my own bestfriend is ignoring me too. I understand them, Lisanna is a nice person and everyone missed her but it has been 2 months, 2 freaking months. I know that I don't have the right to be jealous 'cause I'm just new here. I'm not really mad, just upset.

I stood up and went to the bar where Mira and Gajeel are. "Hey Bunny-girl" Gajeel greeted me with a grin, I shivered. "How many times do I have to tell you to stop calling me that?" I said sitting down next to him. "Here Lucy, have you favorite milkshake" Mira said handing me my strawberry milkshake. "Thanks Mira" I smiled at her. "Bunny-girl, want to go on a mission with me?" I shook my head. "Thanks for the offer but, I don't feel like going on a mission right now, I even turned down Laxus and his team's invitation earlier" I said as I drank my drink.

We just kept on talking until someone interupted us. Someone tapped me on my shoulder and when I look it's Natsu with a grin on his face. Suddenly, I was filled with hope but it went away when he gripped my shoulder tightly. "Lucy, we're kicking you out of our team, I mean who needs a weak celestial mage?" Natsu said chuckling. "We're replacing you with Lisanna who is now my girlfriend" Natsu said finally releasing his grip on my shoulder. "Oi Flame-brain, don't call Lucy weak" Gajeel said standing up. "Oh so you're protecting this weak useless mage huh? Pathetic" Erza said and started walking towards us. 

"You have no right to call Lucy weak, Erza" Mira said finally stepping into the conversation. "Yes she does Mira, she's a S-Class wizard for pete's sake. She can call anyone weak and useless" Gray said standing right next to Erza. "Woah Mira and Gajeel, calm down. I know I'm weak Natsu but I'm trying my best I guess you can't see that" I sighed. "Tch" Natsu said before leaving with Erza and Gray. "Lucy are you okay, that bastard gripped you tight on the shoulder. Does it hurt?" Gajeel said with worry in his voice. "I'm fine Gajeel, don't worry about me" I smiled weakly. "I swear, I'm going to report this to Master" Mira said huffing. "No need Mira, I can handle this" Her eyes have doubt in them but she finally nodded. 

"Anyways, is Master upstairs?" Mira nodded with a sweet smile. "Thanks, I guess I'll talk to him" I said before running upstairs. I knocked on Master's door.

Makarov's POV

     "Come in" I said and the door opened revealing a Lucy with a bruise on her shoulder. "What happened child?" I asked. "Oh nothing Master, Natsu just got a little bit overboard" She chuckled nervously. That bastard! "Well, are you okay?" She just nodded with a weak smile. "Anyways, what brought you here child?" She gulped nervously. "Master, I want to quit the guild for a while." My eyes widened "Why? If I may ask" She sighed. "I need to get stronger Master, I'm well informed that I'm weak and Natsu has to even tell me that I'm weak which hurts me the most" I clenched my fist from anger. "Don't worry Master, I'm not some evil bitch that will seek revenge" she chuckled. "I just want to get stronger, strong enough to fit in this guild" she smiled weakly at me.

"Okay child, if that's what you want" I said sighing. I chanted some words in a snap her insignia is gone. "Here Gramps, I made this letters a week ago. Yeah I've just been waiting for the right time to quit the guild" she said handling me the letters she made. "There is one for Laxus, one for his team, one for Mira, one for Gajeel, one for the exceeds and especially, one for you" she smiled and I just hugged her tightly. "Thanks for being there when my father has abandoned me Gramps" she said as I released her from the hug. I can't help but cry. "Come on Gramps, cheer up! I'm coming back.. I promise you" she smiled before she left.
