Hi guys!

I didn't have time to really think about all that happened... I was very busy being festive and all... I was thinking it was just my mind playing tricks but I learned something very surprising yesterday.

It was party night last night, at the spa. Our annual party. Usually, each year, the celebration is quite awesome. It starts in the hot tubs, where exceptionally, one time a year, the employees give themselves the right to drink beer and smoke a few joints under the falling snow. The boss never openly approves nor disaproves. He looks at us, smile and shakes his head. Then we all go into the sauna and he makes comments on how those who smoked are less resistent to the extreme heat...

Boss is a good guy. An honest guy. His moto could be resumed to "Be cool with me and I will be cool with you." Each year he throws this awesome party with great food, lots of gifts and lots of fun.

After we made about an hour in the saunas and hot tubs then we all got dressed up for the second part of the party at the spa's location house, just the other side of the road.

Boss always makes a "who wants to be a millionaire" game with questions almost everyone finds boring but are meant to make us learn about the spa industry. And if you answer right, you get a prize, that's the fun part.

Most of the people have no idea what are the anwsers to the questions and half of the others did not even listen to the questions. So most people anwser a random a,b,c or d. And have 25% chances of getting the right anwser.

This year, to add to the fun, there were prices even for those who were wrong. You had the choice between a bottle of wine for the alcoolics or a 25 dollards gift card at the local sushi bar, for the others. I chose sushi.

Shaun, the lucky, won sushi plus the grand prize of an excursion on the river in rafting for 6 persons, next summer! All the girls were already around him, asking who he would bring with him. I waved at him and laughed. He came accross the room to meet me.

"Will you come with me in rafting B?

-Summer is still far but of course Shaun! That will be fun! Who else will come?

-I don't know yet.

I was happy that I was the first that he wanted to invite. There was something between me and Shaun. It was a long time since we kneew each other and I could feel something had evolved between us, pass the stage of friendship. But none of us really dared to make a move.

-So... Shaun, will you come with me to eat free sushi?

-Well I choosed sushi too, didn't I? I was hopping to go with you too. If it's not too cheap to go on a date where all is free. " he said with his great smile.

Did he really said the word "date"? Oh I was having butterflies in my stomach.

Laughing, we went to eat a bite at the buffet. Standing in front of the buffet was Jim, the lunatic. He seemed to be hesitating on what food he would take.

The cook passed by with a tray full of delious-looking and smelling bites.

"Will you taste this delicious duck bites ladies and gentlemen?

-Of course! Me and Shaun answered simultaneously and took some.

-Hmm... I don't think so. Said Jim.

-Oh ey ar elicious! I said, my mouth full.

Shaun approved silently.

-Oh no.... said Jim. I won't. No...it makes me feel... strange... Isn't it strange to eat duck?"
