Chapter 32

Lexi's POV

I didn't actually realize that Daryl was gone until Rick told me Negan took him after he killed Glenn. Tara and Heath cane back 3 days ago and they had two girls with them. Sky Glass is one of the girls that they brought back. I haven't really had the chance to talk to her but she's really pretty. She has blonde hair and blue eyes.

Kylie Barth is the other girl that came. I think she likes Carl but I might be wrong. Kylie's pretty cool she lives with me, McKayla,Jacob, and Beth. I know it seems like that's alot of people for one house but it's actually not. It's a two story house and it has 2 bedrooms downstairs, a bathroom, and then there's the living room and kitchen. There's 2 other bedrooms upstairs and it has a bathroom to. I sleep downstairs in the room beside McKayla and Jacob's room. Beth and Kylie are upstairs.

I put the last of the eggs on my plate before walking over to the bottom of the stairs. "Beth, Kylie, breakfast is ready!" I yelled. I heard their doors squeak open. I smiled to myself and walked back into the kitchen. Kylie was the first to enter the small kitchen. She sat beside McKayla and began eating her eggs. "I have to help in the stock room today and Carl's gonna babysit for me. Will you take them over there?" I asked Kylie. She looked up and nodded with a smile. "So you and Carl together yet?" Beth asked with a smirk. Kylie's eyes went wide and she about spit her juice out. I laughed while throwing my jacket on. "Bye see you guys later." I said before I kissed my babies on the head.

I arrived at the stock room a few minutes after leaving my house. I sped walked because I didn't want to run into anyone and them give me pity because Glenn's gone. When I was about to open the door I heard talking. "Has Lexi said anything since Glenn died?" Carol asked. "No." Rick replied. After a moment of silence Carol spoke up again. "She needs to talk about it, Rick. I was like her when my Sophia died. If she don't talk she'll become like me." Carol's voice cracked. "Carol, she's just mourning in her own way." Rick argued. I decided it was my turn to talk so I opened the door and showed myself. "Carol, Rick, I know your worried about me but I'm fine. I know he's in a better place." I replied holding back my feelings. The truth is I miss him like crazy and if I cry I'll never stop. Rick nodded and Carol looked at her feet. "It's okay to worry about me but the truth is I'm fine. I might miss him but I have Beth, McKayla, Jacob, and Kylie. Plus all of you." I said. He nodded again. Olivia walked in and saved me from the awkward silence. "Sasha said Negan's here." She said. I nodded nervously. Rick, Carol, and I walked slowly over to the gates.

"Where's my shit?" Negan questioned looking at all three of us. "Olivia and Eric are bringing the supplies over." Rick replied. Negan nodded. Olivia and Eric appeared beside Carol with a cart full of boxes. Negan's boys got out of their truck and collected the boxes from us. "Well see you next week, Rick!" Negan yelled while I was closing the gate. I glared at the terrible man who killed my husband. I nodded to Rick as I was making my way back to my house. As I got on the porch to my house I heard screaming coming from Rick's house. I ran over there and opened the door to see Enid and Kylie fighting. "Carl? What the hell is going on?" I asked. "Enid told Kylie to back off!" Carl yelled over the grunts and screams. "Back off what?" I asked. "Me!" Carl replied. I nodded. "Okay I got Kylie, you got Enid." I said. "Okay." Carl nodded in agreement. We pulled the girls apart and Enid gave Kylie a hard glare. "Kylie, let's just go home." I said calmly. Kylie shook her head and pointed to Enid. "And leave her here with Carl!" She yelled. "Yeah, No way!" "Kylie! I'm not arguing. Go get your shit and my babies and let's go HOME!" I yelled. Kylie gave me a shocked expression and ran to get McKayla and Jacob. I grabbed McKayla and we walked out the door. "Kylie, what the hell was that? You can't just kick Enid's ass because she likes Carl. I said on our walk through the yard to my house. "Whatever, okay, can we just drop it?" She asked. I nodded and we walked inside. "Oh! Kylie back so early?" Beth asked wiggling her eyebrows. "She fought Enid." I said looking back at Kylie. She rolled her eyes and Beth burst out laughing causing Kylie and I to join in.
