It's been 2 weeks since I see that little girl.
2 weeks but I can still clearly see her smile.
Her cute blushed and beautiful face.
If someone could read my thought right now they would think I'm a pervert.
Hell! She is just 10 years old and I'm thinking of how beautiful is, and how can I see and talk to her again?
" Mama, Kuya is idling again!!" my oaf of a brother shout again snaping me out of my reverie.
"Seriously, what's with you and shouting? You sound like a girl" I said back.
"I'm not!"
"Yes you are!"
"I'm not!"
"Yes you are!"
"I'm not!"
"Yes you are!"
"What's with this ruckus all about?" a voice in the living room surprise us.
"Papa!/Honey" me, Raffy and mama all shout in unison.
"Papa, I miss so much" my brother hug my papa.
"I miss you too. Also you Steffan and most of all I miss you,my life." he said as he hug me and my brother and put a chaste kiss in my mama's lips.
"How's school?" our father inquire.
We are seating on the table and eatig our lunch. It's a tradition to us that we eat together.
" School is nice.Everything is doing great." Raffy is munching his food grossly. I really can't think why most of our classmates and schoolmates find Raffy as cute or handsome.
He is definately not handsome.
Cute probably but not handsome.
"How about you Steffan? How is your study?"
"Same as usual. Boring classes but tolerable"
"You could say that class s boring because you are a freaking genius!"
"Raffy, voices.Where in front of the blessings" my mother hush Raffy.

I silently say.
"Sorry, mama.But it's really true. Kuya is always good with his study. He could get perfect score in his test without studying."
" I'm so proud of you Steffan. I'm glad that you are doing great."mama said while kissing my side head.
"well, raffy is also great in school. He become the only junior that won the MVP back to back" Raffy is a star player in our high school basketball team.
" Then I couldn't think of anything that I wish this family could have.," my father said.
"A sister!" Raffy shouted.
Me, papa and mama chocked our food.
"Raffy, what the..."
"Steffan?" mama warn me while shaking her head.
I really want to whack my brother's head right now.
"What 's wrong with that. I really want a sister."
" Raffy, baby. I also want to but I..." mama halt on what she want to say. She silently eat her food.
"Raffy, you know why we can't have baby right?" papa ask.
"Of course. I'm sorry mama. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings" Raffy stand up and hug mama in the back while she is still seating.
"It's ok baby. No need to fret. I'm ok.Go back to your seat and eat again."
After that we eat again but silently. My brother who is the talkative for once shut his mouth.
I am in our backyard with my book under a tree when I overheard my mama and papa.
"Gustavo, Honey. Akala ko sa susunod na linggo ka pa uuwi? Napaaga ka yata. May problema ba?" mama ask in her native language.
"No, walang problema my life. Masama na bang umuwi ng maag kesa naipangako?" papa answered while pulling mama to sit in his lap and kissing her hair." Nakaka-sama ka naman ng loob honey ko."
who would have thought that what the world branded as a ruthless bussinessman is having mushy conversation with his wife.
And if ever any one ask why my father know how to speak my mama's native language, well it's because of my grangparents.
One of their condition to my father if he wants to marry my mama is to learn how to speak Tagalog. Papa always said that my Grandma is so "makabayan" because she is a Filipino teacher.
So for over a year papa underwent a rigid tutoring of how to speak tagalog of course she is thought by mama.
Aside from learning tagalog, he also need to do old way of courting a girl. Papa courted for over a year and half. Two months after they decided to get married. 1 year later mama concieved me. Then another year she got pregnant again, this time with Raffy. Ten years later, a blessing come again. Mama is pregnant and we find out it's a girl. me and Raffy is estatic to have a baby sister. However, the heaven must think that she is not for us because they ind out that the baby is dead in my mama's womb.
We are very devastated in the first place. a baby girl would be a nice addition to our family.
For months mama and papa mourned with our lost and after they picked up their life and move on. But a topic about baby is still a sour topic.
"Syempre hindi ako mag-rereklamo. Kaya lang it's very unusual of you. If you said you would be back by 2 weeks makakabaik ka ng 2 weeks. No more no less. Kaya nagtataka lang ako" mama hug papa.
Papa sigh." well, if you really want to know there is something but it's not a problem."
"Ano yun? Sabihin mo sa akin."
"I am expanding my bussiness. Our empire you know that right?"
"oo naman. So what about it?"
"Kasi.."
"Please Gustavo...wag ng pa-suspense pa"
"Ok...here it is. We need to move in the Philippines."
