It was cold and moist yet dry and all the night insect where hiding,she should have gone home earlier,late night at this hours where bad for her since,she felt watched these days. She might call Lori to not sleep too early tonight,she has to tell her what is happening,what she did,she was wrong she should never have done it. Guilt was burning in again now she stopped taking in her surrounding then she pulled out her cell phone and dialed Lori
"Hey girl" an overly excited sugar rushed girl screamed through the phone which was sounding fake,it was unlike her though,made her quiver a bit."Lori,I need to tell you something,so you need to be up when I get home in about 20min"she said like she must not deduct from the words she spoke."Okay, you okay Ann,I could get a couple of beers you know.."She tried to say to cheer her up.
That awkward stare again this time it felt like it was about to strike,she was going to run,but why,"girl you still there"she was still on the phone."m just around the corner".She heard a twag snap "who is that"she said loud but came out like whispers with fear she turned to see a figure coming towards her,she froze but gained herself almost Immediately and ran but didn't scream until she noticed the person was running after her too,she had dropped her bag hoping it was a mugging,her head swings back to see how close the person was but the fear and adrenaline pumped faster cause of the gun pointed at her.
Her stomach was liquidating,blood seems to have gushed out from a part of her body she held the place for support,the pain was fast and it burned,she bleed faster than she could imagine her life flash before her eye,her heart was slowing,she laid flat on her tummy. even still scared to see her killer and another bullet was bye bye to vague world

The alarm rang through the bed table to the bathroom walls it was 6 in the morning but she was already up,making coffee and dressed in her black below the knee skirt with a fine slit behind and a caramel light chiffon shirt,matched with a black peep toe 4inch.arranging her paper work when she heard her phone right.
"Kimberly Clark"
"Theirs been a murder"
"Text me the address"
Something to take her mind off,she picked her car key and left the apartment,she arrived the crime scene 30mins after, when she came out of her car the two partners who were ranked under her also her close friends were already walking towards her to give briefing
"Hey guys,who is our victim"she asked
"We just arrived not quite long too, talked to CSU they are canvassing for any witness around,we were about talking to Cleo when you came" beck said

##Cleo is the medical personnel for the NYPD she does autopsy,time of death whatever deals with the dead on the medical term

"Morning Kim" Cleo said with a sweet smile while bending beside the victim noting her observations
"Hey Cleo,what do you have for us"she replied
"Your victim took a double GS14 to the chest,obviously from the back this one was shot from a far range and this from a very close range"Cleo said
"she probably fought or was running,any sort of identification"kim asked
"We found her purse right over,her name is Ann Marlowe,she is an intern at Fox company and her purse every thing seems intact" Tony said
"it's totally not a mugging,and it's not random either" beck added
"Premeditated" Kim said with a nod and continued "relations"
"Yes,her parents stay in Texas,we found a picture in purse she took a picture with a guy  a boy friend maybe his name his Sam vigil, and yes the only witness we had was on the phone,a Lori snow,her flat mate and best friend was the last call Ann got before she threw her phone over there and ran" beck explained and described
"According to CSU,from the phone record voice message said Sam and Ann maybe got into a serious argument a week after they broke up,and he promised to make her pay"Tony added
"Okay,Cleo any other thing"Kim asked breathing in all the information
"I wouldn't know anything now until I get to the lab,but I can tell you lividity is around 11_2"Cleo said and tony scoffed,getting a face from Kim requiring him to speak out
"Well,What was she doing out late" Tony said and continued "she looks like the decent type you know" he added with a wink with beck laughing and stopping abruptly when they got stares from the girls

Kimberly was in the coffee room when Tony came to tell her Sam was in the interrogation room,she went in with him where Sam Ann's boyfriend was already sited. Conversion between Kim and Sam....

"Why am I here"Sam said in anger
"You have been informed of your rights am sure" Kim asked not really caring if he  hasn't been.she said it more like a ritual before interrogating
"We are aware of your relationship with Ann Marlowe"
"I have no relationship with Ann"
"You dated for a year before breaking it up badly,and a week after that you got in some serious argument"

"Was that why you killed her"Kimberly replied so gentle and soft looking into his eyes for a flinch

"Woooo you are not implying I killed her are you" he asked now sweating
"What she implies are not your business,where were you" Tony stepped in on the conversation
"I was,..err,was at the park no I was home" he stammered
"I believe you know this is an homicide,and I will hold any charges against you. I mean concerning your case record, you are wanted for a lot . racketeering,assault,resisting arrest. placing murder I 'll say 25 to life." Kimberly said,with a goofy face,like if he dared to take the risk

"What's it going to be Sam,you going to tell me where you where"
"I was at her house,...I was with Lori"
"What Lori as in her best friend,flat mate" Tony said skeptical while he replied with a nod
"Why were you at her house you two already broke up"
"I was seeing Lori when she wasn't home,...I know it's crazy stupid but we found love, I swear I didn't kill her"he said dreamy and panicking.
"Put him down in holding,bring Lori in"Kimberly said to the officer and Tony respectively
