17 years later

My Emerald green eyes flashed opened as I felt a sharp sting on the back of my head through my sea of shiny dark chocolate hair. I whipped my head around to see none other then- "Mike! What the heck? what was that for?" I said glaring at his gorgeous smirk. I saw the rubber band laying on the ground. "Ms. Tannis! Are you with us today?" Mrs. Grainy asked me sternly. I slowly turned around and pulled on a winner smile. "I'm so sorry mrs.Grainy I was up very late volunteering at the homeless shelter. I must of dozed off." Perfect! That could make any teacher melt. I saw something shoot up in the corner of my eye. and turned just in time to see Linsey open that huge mouth of her and ruin it all. "Mrs.Grainy? Cammy was a matter of fact not at the homeless shelter. I was and they send volunteers home at eight o'clock. She was at Warren's party!" She said smugly and turned towards me as she stuck out her tongue at me. "What were we? In grade five? c'mon it's our senior year lets save the tongues for kissing shall we?" I spat back as the classroom erupted with chuckles. "SILENCE!" Mrs.Grainy screamed. I looked down, I heard her heels clicking towards my desk. "Ms. Tannis? Is this true?" She asked bitterly knowing the answer. I saw Warren flash me his phone from across the room, It read 'Lymphocyte B and T' I looked up at the teacher's brutal face. "The answer is Lymphocyte B and T, my personal life is my personal business Mrs. Grainy." I said with a very smart, teetering on the rude side but not, attitude. The bell rung then and there, giving me a perfect dramatic exit. "Nice one babe." Mike said with a wink. He knew he never stood a chance but that didn;t mean he never stopped trying...
