Not everything has to start from scratch. Some old things can turn into a wonderful new useful item. As Harry kept writing in his old journal, turning it into something wonderful. Something that Seraphina, hopefully, will cherish. His pen ran out if ink, making him turn for help from a pencil. His handwriting wasn't as neat as it should be, but his mind was running, while his hand was trying to catch up.Seraphina sat as usual, in her bed with what she loves the most. Coffee, a warm blanket, and of course; a book. She finds it special, since Harry bought it. She thinks that it's crazy that just one small thing that someone does, can have such a huge affect on someone. Looks like it rubbed off on her.
The feelings she's been starting to evolve around the boy, makes her question herself. Is this me? Why am I feeling such a strange emotion? She's been starting to think the feeling must be, love. Although, it sounded crazy to her and all. How in the world would she love him? And how did these feelings evolve?
Harry wants to know how Seraphina feels about him. Does she hate or love him? He feels happy around her, like everyone does. Her atmosphere when you are around her, is extravagant. You all of a sudden feel so happy, and enjoy her company so much. But not everything lasts forever, and he's realized that for a while now.
Everything doesn't go as planned, but one thing that did. Was meeting her again. He knew that now, his life will change forever. And maybe go the way it was before, when everything was perfect. He got changed and grabbed his now finished journal, he called Seraphina and told her that he's coming over.
Seraphina didn't find it weird that he knew where she lived, because she's starting to understand slightly. Maybe he did know her before, because how else would he know where she lived or paint a picture? She opened the door, letting Harry in. She noticed him holding a leather journal. He was soaking wet, from the rain.
She helps him take off his coat and hangs it up to dry. She makes him some hot tea to warm him up as he sets the journal down on the counter. He shakes his hair, trying to get it dry again.
"The bathroom is down the hall, you can dry off there." She smiles.
"Thanks." He says before following her directions towards the bathroom. When she hears the door close, she takes that moment to read the journal. She noticed its Harry's handwriting, from how messy it is, looks like he was in a hurry.
"Dear Seraphina,
I just want to give you this so you can know our past. Know what we were, and how much you loved me. Maybe you still have some part of my love somewhere in your heart. Somewhere in your nerdy brain you might find the truth. Please read on, read every page and every word. Even if you don't love me anymore, I just want you to remember how we watched the stars at night lying on the soft green grass. How we cooked together, putting frosting on each other's noses before licking it off. The sweet goodnight kisses we had, the late night talks about what might the next scenes in the one book be. Please read and maybe tell me what you think, if you want I mean. When you finish this book, meet me at the same cafe on the corner.
Love,
Harry xx"
She quickly flipped to the next page, reading on. Completely unaware of Harry's presence at the kitchen table. He watched her eyes look at every word scribbled on the page as she soaks in the truth. After she was done with the journal, she looked up to see Harry's eyes on her. She jumped from her chair lightly, causing the journal to fall on the floor.
"I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to read it, I was just curious that's all." She stutters while Harry picks up the book and hands it back to her.
"But," she says, confused.
"It's made for you, Seraphina," he says. "just for you to know the truth between us."
"I read it, though." She says quietly, embarrassed for reading it before he let her.
"It's okay," he smiles, "I know how fast you can read."
She looks up at him, he was smiling. His eyes had small wrinkles at the corner of his eye. She smiled back lightly, his proximity was close to her. The now familiar scent of him took over her senses. She didn't know what was about to happen, but Harry did.
As he leaned down, their lips touched gently. Before moving in sync, passionately. They both felt the energy giving off of them. As the kiss turned into a huge make out scene. Just like in her book. The boy waits patiently for the girl to realize his love for her. But she beat the book, and realized beforehand.
And that was it. That was what started something great. Now Seraphina wasn't just The Girl, she was His Girl now. And she loved that. And as time flew by, the couple announced their engagement and not long after their wedding came. They knew it was right, they were right for each other. Their love will die with each other, no one else in the way.
Because gravity is not responsible for making people fall in love, it's the peoples fault for falling hard. But there was someone to catch them before they fell. Like Harry caught Seraphina. And he will hold her the rest of the way.
