The young man shivered in the uncomfortable wooden bar stool as the men around him drank and chattered.
"Hey Eren aren't you going to get a drink?" questioned a blonde man as he plopped clumsily in the seat next to Eren.
"No, you know how I am around alcohol, Armin," he groaned to his friend.
"You say you can't stand the stuff," Armin slurred obviously having had a few drinks himself, "But you don't know what you're missing."
"I don't want to find out," he dismissed the topic wrinkling his nose.
"Welcome everyone!" Eren and Armin set their attention to the small stage set up opposite to the bar as they have done a million times before.
"Well there goes Hanji with another one of her tales," Eren whispered to Armin as he rolled his eyes.
"Well she is the owner," Armin shrugged.
"I am your host Hanji and I am here to tell you a tale that will make even the strongest men shake in fear!" her voice echoed throughout the whole bar as everyone grew silent. "Not that long ago there was a man just like you and I," her hands gestured around the room. "He was Sleepy Hollow's greatest warrior. He was strong and brave and never backed down from a fight but that was his undoing. One day he was challenged by a mysterious young traveler to a duel. He couldn't say no. The duel was set to midnight that night in the forest. He and the challenger faced each other horses and riders ready for the battle to begin. It is said that their battle lasted for hours until his horse exhausted lost its balance and fell leaving him vulnerable. The stranger slashed his head clean off." the audience around her gasped as she made a slashing movement with her arm. "The stranger left burying The horseman's head somewhere along the forest path. Legend tells that the headless horsemen is still out there looking for a head to replace his own so he can finally get a rematch. So watch out or you might just lose yours" silence swept over the room for a few moments before Loud clapping began. Hanji took a bow as she stepped off the stage.
"Kind of creepy," Armin shivered.
"I'm not afraid of any headless guy Armin, It is not even real," Eren replied not knowing how wrong he could be.
