My Way

Chapter 1

I walked down the hall of the highschool yawning slightly tired as I held my books tightly. It was my first day, New highschool. Hopefully It will be a better experience

When i passed a few people, those People stared at me. God what the hell did I do to them. I scurried to first period and set my books down on the desk in the back. The teacher was writing something on the board and I crossed my arms, making her write down her number and address instead of the assignment. Hey I was bored

But, I'm Alexandria. I'm 16, and yes, I have various amount of powers and at times, only sometimes I use my powers for my own enjoyment. The rest of the times I use it to help other people or sometimes train. And yet I am in a world where having magic Is okay.

The teacher Mind linked to me "Could you not there is a rule against magic only for when we tell you to use it and by we I mean only the staff and teachers." I rolled my eyes looking around at the classroom that had boring blue walls with posters upon magic. She must be the magic safety teacher.

But..Greatttt. She has telepathy, But how did she know it was me? Is it another power I don't know about? Ughhh today is getting better by the minute.

The day was moving fast I met all my teachers as some of them had a unique set of powers yet some didn't. I didn't know what my powers were yet, well most of them The highschool was quite dull it only had blue walls and some would be white. The lockers were separated by floors. Due to your grade.

I grabbed my stuff out of my locker teleporting home immediately and straight to my room. Yes I have telepathy as one of my powers but most of family does too. I grabbed my book and jumped onto the bed on my stomach. Today was a shitty day but tomorrow will be even more shittier.

I was into my book a bit too much not hearing my mom walk in as she said "Get up and meet me at Coles house. There's a meeting we must attend".

Cole is my best friend. He was only next door and I grew up with him all of my life. He understood the fact that I stopped talking when i was six. He's beginning to teach me the basics of magic and beyond. He's only two years older than me but way and i mean wayyy more advanced in magic then I am. I guess he trained more.

I nodded to mom and as she left the room closing the door. I got up going to my closet as I threw the book on the bed. I grabbed some jeans and a black shirt. My stomach was growling but I ignored it

I took a quick shower and out the clothes on walking to Coles house as one of my friends speeder towards me. Lily, her powers were super speed,Telekinises and yet candy magic as weird as it may sound.

Lily looked at me then Coles house and giggles saying "Gonna confront him now?" She sounded curious but teasing at the same time.

I growled annoyed from having to move from my comfy warm bed. Giving her a 'Im about to kill you look' She shrugged saying "Someone's still sleepy". She could read my looks just like Cole. Sadly my mom couldn't do it as well as them. She always tried to get me to talk.

I nodded. I was ready instead of my usual get up, go to school,sleep,read then go to coles house. "Can I come in too?" I heard lily say as I nodded as I walked up to the porch knocking on his door. I looked at all the flowers in the garden in front of the house that the mom planted. A pattern of red roses and white roses that due to magic,never died.

Coles dad Opened the door In a suit that you would wear to a very important meeting downtown as he nodded saying softly and warmingly "Come in, Alexandria, lily. You can go to Coles room until the meeting is fully started and ready."

I walked into the house directly in the living room where the set of wooden stairs were to upstairs where everyone's bedrooms were. Lily had already ran upstairs not using her super speed.

I took my time going up stairs. I didn't like running up stairs really. Especially Coles. I guess it's because Coles stairs are diagonally set up, Yet I trip every time I try to run.

I reached Coles door which was already partially opened as I heard Talking. I stayed put and looked at the white carpet as I listened.

I heard Lily say "So what's the meeting about anyways?" Cole said in a deep but sleepy voice "Apparently there is a person causing destruction among others and killing too many people. Yet, the counsel wants us to go and find him and bring him back alive."

Lily sighed and said softly "Why us? Do they know that Alex hasn't found all her powers out yet? Is that why?" Cole shook his head "The counsel has no clue of it yet. They went to the most powerful family for help. Or should I say two of the most, Anyway where's Alexandria?"

I stumbled into the door acting like I almost fell off the last stair. I was a pretty good actor. Lily rushed over to me as she grabbed my arm bringing me to the bed as she said "Wanna watch what we always watch? Until there done?"

I nodded stretching as I hugged one of my legs. Cole patted my back which caused me to look at him. His eyes were hazel his hair partially covering his eyes.

Before I knew it. I was asleep. This is going to be a long day.
