MAGCON Adventures

"Oh. My. Gosh. It's today!!!!!!" my best friend Grace yells from the bathroom as she is finishing her hair and makeup. I'm on my bed chilling and I reply with a quick "Yep today we get to go on a 5 hour plane ride and drive 30 minutes to an airport. Joy." She glares at me with half of her makeup done and her hair is all frizzy so I can't help but giggle a little at the sight of her.

She was so desperate to go. She had a huge plan of falling in love with Nash Grier and getting married and having his babies and dying together. I just wanted to see the hot guys. I wasn't really into the whole Vine/ YouTube thing. I just thought the guys were hot, so I had agreed to come with Grace to Orlando for Magcon. I was on twitter and uploaded a photo of me laying on my bed smiling saying 'About to go to the airport for Magcon :)'.

We arrive at the airport and our parents kiss us goodbye and give us the whole speech on how to be safe and not talk to strangers and no inappropriate behavior. I am actually really surprised that our parents are letting us go to Orlando alone for a week because we're only 16. We say our goodbyes and headed in.

Grace would not shut up about Nash, Taylor, Jack, Jack, and Cameron and I just wanted to pull out my hair, but instead I just sat and agreed pretending I was listening. We went through security and grabbed something to eat from Mc. Donald's then go to our gate. We were lucky enough to get seats next to each other (or at least I thought). The whole ride she was literally telling me each of their life stories and her favorite things about them. UGH. The only time she shut up was when she fell asleep and I was relieved.

We arrived in Orlando and collected our baggage, then I flagged down a cab and we hopped in. I told the driver the hotel and we got there in about 45 minutes due to traffic. We hopped out at the same time a huge white limo pulled up and literally 100 girls swarmed around them; including Grace. I just got our bags and managed to drag her out of the crowd. One guy caught my eye and it was a tall, brown haired guy. We smiled and winked at me and I could feel my face get hot. I smiled and waved back, but then quickly turned and ran away with Grace.

Grace was laughing at my embarrassment, but was also very jealous that he even noticed me. I think his name is Jack? Not sure which one though.

We get to our room which is coincidentally right next to one of the guys room. I know this because about 15 minutes after we settled in, we could hear laughing, screaming, and overall boy sounds coming from the room on right.

I needed to rest a little so I decided to go over to them and tell them to shut the hell up. I knocked on the door and Jack opened the door. His beautiful hair and face stunned me and I couldn't talk for what felt like forever.

"Uh. You guys need to shut up because I need to rest and it's kinda hard when there are a bunch of screaming girls next door." I added a smile to be sarcastic and I guess he like it because he winked at me.

"Ohh. Sassy. I like it, but sorry we aren't quiet." he said in an angelic voice.

"And why is that?" I added is a very snappy tone. He laughed and looked at my eyes. I could melt right now.

"Well we're guys. It's what we do, but you're welcome to join us anytime." he winked at me and then Taylor Caniff appears and smiles at me. Jack looks upset when I smile back at Taylor.

"Back off dude. She's mine." Jack says in a very matter-of-fact tone. Taylor backs away and puts his hands up. I laugh a little Taylor winks at me. Wow he's really hot. Jack looks at me and seems angry now. I decide to end this awkward encounter by saying:

"Okay well I better get some sleep and please don't try anything."

"Jack says well maybe I'll try a little harder if I knew your name."

"It's Brooke. Now goodnight." I say with a little flip of my hair and I'm gone.

I walk back to my room, shower, and change into my pajamas. I check my social media and then decide to get to sleep. Tomorrow's going to be a long day.
