I was sitting on my bed, do the usual multi-tasking I do, in the confines of my bedroom: Listen to Falling In Reverse (and of course, I had the music blaring out of my Hi-Def. Stereo and the song was Sexy Drug - One of my many favorite songs), viewing my Facebook while either ignore haters, roasting them as decide to comment stupid shit on my statuses that I made, and last but not least, sharing my love for Falling In Reverse on my Snapchat! As I was just finished having single jam session to Sexy Drug, I get a call from my lovely friend Audrey Leigh Brown - my most dearest and awesome badass BFF ever. I quickly grabbed the remote for my stereo and pressed the mute button and then pressed the answer button and put the phone to my left ear saying, "Hey Audrey! What's good?" I asked plopping my back onto the couch.
That's when I noticed the alarm clock on my dresser saying 5:30 AM. 'Good thing I don't have to work today, especially since my birthday,' I thought. "Jaaade?? Guess what??" Audrey said, giggling with excitement, My eyes widened and I said, "You're at my front door right now with Bacon??" I gasped. Even though I am allergic to bacon, I still oddly cannot get enough it. It just tastes so fucking good! "No," Audrey quickly says with a small laugh. I groan childishly, but in a joking manner. "Buuut, I do have a birthday present for you!" She says. "Oh my god, now you have to tell me what it is because I won't be able to take the pressure!" I said uncontrollably fast, my words bursting out with emotion. "Yes, I know." Audrey pauses with a giggle. "Anyways, I have a Ticket for you," I made an odd 'what the fuck'face when I had heard Audrey say 'Ticket'.
"What's the ticket for?" I ask quickly, messing with my necklace, trying to entertain myself with its beauty. "Well, does the term F.I.R. ring a bell?" I tried to grasp what she was getting at and then, five minutes of thinking, it finally hit me like a fucking freight train. My mouth was open, agape; my face having an astonished expression thrown on it. 'Did she really???' I thought to myself. "Audrey ... Did you get me a Ticket to go see Falling In Reverse in Roanoke tonight!?" I ask , not wanting to wait for the answer. It made me wish I could instantly go through the other line of the phone, like Sir headless Nick, from Harry Potter, and just be like 'Hey, now you were saying!?' Audrey giggled and finally said, "That, and I got you a VIP Backstage Pass for tonight.
The moment I heard that, That obnoxious hallelujah song (you know, the one that sounds like a bunch of opera singers? Yeah, that one) playing in my mind. a few seconds later, I screamed at the top of my lungs with excitement. "Oh. My. God. Audrey, you are literally the best!" I shrilled once again with excitement. I was so excited, I didn't notice 'til after I finished speaking that I was standing up off the bed. "I knew you'd love it! Audrey said laughing. "I am on my way now to give you the ticket, as well as the VIP pass. I know I don't have to worry about telling you this, but whatever you do: Don't. Lose. Them," Audrey warned, of course for my own safety. "I promise I won't lose them! I said, excited! That's when I felt a tear of joy run down my face. I quickly swiped away with my right hand and said, "So, I'll see you when you get here? I don't want you to crash, just because you were on the phone with me, not paying attention to the rode," I said the last part randomly.
"Yep! Sounds like a plan!" Audrey said. Text me as soon as you get here! Love ya!" I said, happily. We exchanged one final goodbye to each other, and then I hung up. "Holy fucking Batman." I said, just realizing. "I'M TOTALLY UNPREPARED FOR TONIGHT! WHAT AM I GOING TO WEAR!" I shouted at myself practically. I quickly go into my closet and just start throwing all of my clothes that were on hangers onto my bed. I rummage through them one at a time, quickly and as I'm doing it, I pull up Snapchat and start making a Snap for my Snap story. I held the camera button so it would record and then I started to speak to the face cam. "Oh my god - Guys!" I paused, dramatically (I guess) for the camera and began to speak again a moment later. "I'M GOING TO THE FALLING IN REVERSE CONCERT TONIGHT!" I shouted with excitement and that's when I started to cry. Tears began falling down my face, but they weren't tears of sadness. They were tears of intoxicating and overwhelming joy. "No words can express how happy I am!" I said, finishing the recording.
