Zalfie RETURNS?

Prologue: Alfie

   I stood there on the seashore with Zoe. It was an amazing sunset, with pink, blue, and purple all mixed in the sky, like from a watercolor painting.

Zoe's hair stood out in the weak sunlight, somewhat glowing in the sunset. She looked amazing. Alfie instantly felt guilty.

Damn, this girl is so hot, and I'm just a loser. Seriously, she doesn't deserve me.

     Zoe smiled at me. "What can you see in the stars, Alfie?"

      I squinted at the sky, trying to make out something. "I see a dog."

      Zoe smiled. "You know what I see?"

      I frowned. "What?"

      "A big heart."

       I smiled, and together, we exchanged a kiss. Not just any kiss, a sweet, loving kiss. I'd seen people do it in movies. Now I wanted to share it with Zoe. She wasn't just a girl. She was a super girl, and my super hot girlfriend.

       I didn't know whether she thought the same about me, but that's how I felt about her. Suddenly, I felt embarassed, and flustered.

       Zoe looked at me with concern. "Are you okay, Alfie?"

        I looked up at her face. Her eyes were the cutest things in the world. They were like two puppy eyes, looking eager to play. "I'm okay. I just... I love you so much Zoe."

        Zoe grinned. Then we kissed again. This one was a longer, more passionate kiss. We held on to each other's lips, until the last bit of sunlight had dissolved in to thin air.

       We both pulled back, desperate for air. Then, all was calm, and we sat down. Zoe rested her head on my lap. "Alfie?"

       I grinned my goofy smile. "Yeah?"

       "I need to tell you something."

         My face suddenly turned pale white. "Oh no, I'm so sorry Zoe. I shouldn't have taken the chocolates. I was so hungry and there was nothing to eat-"

        Zoe just laughed and smiled. "No, it's not that. I need to tell you something else."

        "What is it?"

         Zoe sighed, weariness covering her face. "Alfie... I'm pregnant."
