"Illy it's time to get up your going to be late to your ceremony and you know how they deduct points for tardiness." My mother called to me in her mono-tone voice she has had since I could remember.

"I'm up mother, just trying to figure out what I'm gonna wear!" I yell back at her, laughing at the little joke I made, there is nothing to chose all of my clothes are exactly the same.

Throwing my blanket of my legs I decided that I may as well get up since there was no use trying to go back to sleep. I walked to my closet and grabbed one of multiple identical outfits out and headed to the bathroom. Signing myself into the bathroom using my ??? the shower turned on to the perfect temperature for my allowed shower time. After 7 minutes, my allowed shower time, the water shut off and I climbed out of the shower and wrapped myself in my fluffy towel.

After I had gotten dressed and brushed my hair I headed downstairs to grab something quick to eat before I headed to the train. My mother was sitting at the table staring off into space when I reached the kitchen.

"You should try eating something." I tell her as I grab an apple from the fridge.

"I'm fine." She replied not even bothering to look at me.

I just shook my head and headed out the door to the train station. I was about half way there when I seen a familiar full head of sandy blonde hair ahead of me.

"Mika, hey Mika, wait up!" I yelled at him while I sped up and waved my arms in the air like a crazy person.

He turned around and shook his head at me, "Oh look your actually on time today." He said as I caught up to him.

"Yea Yea Yea my mother would quit waking me up and telling me I was gonna be late and then the whole deduction speech thing." I tell Mika as we reach the train station.

"Good atleast she managed to get you up." He said as he started laughing and shaking his head.

"I'm not always late!" I tell him as I huff.

"One day being on time doesn't count." He said as the train to school pulled up into the station.

We climbed up into the train and took two of the seats that were empty beside each other and scanned our badge against the screen in front of our seat. When I scanned my badge the welcome message popped up and the morning news and ads that would person to me started playing. It was the same thing every morning on the train ride to school.

"You would think today would be different." I lean towards Mika and whisper.

"Why we haven't tested yet so technically we are still the same as yesterday morning." Mika whispered back, paying attention to his screen.

I sat back up and refocused on my screen while I zoned out thinking about the test and what was gonna happen today and what that would mean for my future. I was so lost in thought that I didn't even realize that the train had stopped and we had arrived at school until Mika tapped my shoulder.

"Come on Illy stop day dreaming and let's go the test isn't gonna wait forever." Mika said as he started heading towards the doors.

I stood up and quickly followed him towards the doors. After I was off I headed towards the school door knowing Mika would wait there for me like he has every other day of school since our 2nd day of kinder grade. When I reached him he smiled down at me and held out his hand. I grabbed his hand and smiled back up at him. Together we opened the doors and headed into school for the very last day.
