"I don't know what pep talk you gave yourself between home and the station but you handled it really well in there." Austin complimented me on the drive home.

The police took my phone in as evidence, saying that they'd use it to calculate where the texts were being sent from by using the phone towers and they would try to collect other evidence from it too. I was kinda embarrassed about what they'd find since Avery was a friend of mine but her perverted mind/texts were the least of my worries.

"It's time to suck it up and deal like I always have." I sighed, staring out the window. His hand sneaked across the arm rest between us and intertwined with mine, giving it a light squeeze.

"We still need to set a date." I reminded him after a while of silence. He nodded and sighed,

"With everything going on, I don't know if that's the right thing to be worrying about. Lets get through this then work on that." He said, I turned to look at him finally, watching him with a frown as he kept his eyes steady on the road. He took a quick side glance at me and noticed my expression.

"What's wrong?"

"That's like the only thing I look forward to anymore." I said.

"Really?" He asked in surprise. "But you've been unsure and dragging your feet the whole time, I didn't think you actually wanted to do it for a while." I leaned across the arm rest and set my head on his shoulder, wrapping my arms around his bicep.

"I know what it seemed, I just wasn't sure then but I am now." I said with certainty. He smiled,

"Do you want to plan it or just turn angel loose on it when we get home?" He asked.

"Honestly, the more I think about it the better a quick wedding seems," I sighed. "You're right about this being a distraction we don't need so if we just got married at town hall or something it'd be done and we could just go on our honey moon then be back quick for the investigation." I said.

"But what about your princess moment?" He teased.

"It's time I grew up." I murmured.

"I don't want you to give up what you want for this, I want you to be happy." He said.

"And I will be, maybe one day after this is all behind us we can do it right with an anniversary party." I said. He pulled into the parking lot of our apartment and parked in his regular space before pulling me into a kiss.

I felt that same spark from day one pass between us that made me just want to be close to him and smiled against his lips before crawling over the arm rest and into his lap. He cupped my face, deepening the kiss but then my elbow hit the horn in the steering wheel and the car started screaming. I jumped at the sudden scare but then we both started laughing and he finally opened the door, pulling me out with him and he carried me up the steps with my legs wrapped around his hips, I started kissing the soft skin behind his ear and down the side of his neck, making him shiver.

"Stop." He moaned, but couldn't hide the smile spreading on his lips. As soon as he got the door unlocked and open I started attacking his lips making him almost drop me from surprise.

"Hey, how'd it go- oh nicely I see..." Angel asked running out of the kitchen.

"You two didn't go get married did you?" Alan asked, "cause you look like you're honey mooning, should I have gotten flower petals for the bedroom?" He joked.

"Not yet, we were actually talking about that." I said jumping out of Austin's arms and sitting down on the couch. "With everything going on I just want to have a quick ceremony, nothing big right now." Angel looked deflated.
