Garroth sprinted down the path with Aphmau in his arms, as she held around his neck tight.
"Are we there soon?" Aphmau questioned.
"Im sure we're there soon..." Garroth said, panting slightly.
"Damn, you're heavy." He said, breathless as he took a slight swing between two big tree's.
"Well, if you dont hurry i won't be anymore." She narrowed her eyes at him.
Garroth chuckled lightly, before Aph whinced in pain, tightning her grip around Garroth's neck.
"This was a bad idea..." Garroth sighed.
"Yeah..." Aphmau agreed.
"We should have known it wasn't anything. Especially not Laurance." Aphmau sighed.
"You shouldn't have come with me." Garroth replied.
Aphmau whinced in pain again.
"It cant be that long now..." He asured her.
"Thank you..." She wispherd quietly, as she listned to his fast heartbeat while he ran.
Sweat trickled down his forehead glimmering in the sun coming trough between the tree's.
"What?" He looked at her puzzled.
"Thanks for everything. Even after all that has happend." She smiled at him.
"Why wouldn't i?" He questioned with a smile.
He kissed her forehead gently, and blushed slightly. Dammit, this is not the time to be akward!
"Garroth, maybe we should stop for some minutes?" Aphmau asked, a little concerned.
"You seem tired."
"Im ok, i promise. Besides, you're more important right now." He answerd, taking another slight swing to the right.
"Garroth. Please." She pleaded.
"I said im ok, i promise." He tried to asure her.
"Garroth. Please." She pleaded, giving him the puppy eyes.
"Ok..." Garroth sighed in defeat.
He stopped by a huge oak tree, gently putting her down. He leaned on the tree as he panted. Almost gasping for air.
"Im... stil not sure... this is a good... idea..." he admitted between pants.
"Im sure it is." Aphmau asured him.
"I dont want you to give birth in the forrest, you know." Garroth replied, slightly out of breath.
"Its not going to happen! Besides! My water hasn't even broken yet!" She replied.
"Better safe than sorry." Garroth chuckled.
"You dork!" She laughed punching his shoulder playfully.
Garroth smiled. She's so cute... Suddenly Garroth hears sounds from the not so far away. His blue eyes scans the bushes.
"Shhh!" He sushes her, putting his index finger in front of her mouth.
"If you want me to shut up you could have just said so--" Aphmau says, a little bit mad.
"Shhh! Im serious." He wispher-yelled, getting his sword ready.
Aphmau looks in the same direction. Suddenly the bushes move again. Aphmau feels her skin turning pale with fear.
"Garroth?" She questiones, quietly.
"Just stay where you are." He asures her.
Suddenly a rock flies past them. They both looked at it puzzled.
"What in the--" Aphmau is interupted by Garroth groaning in pain.
Then she sees someone run away from the bushes.
"Garroth?! Are you ok?!" She asked, panick rising in her voice.
"Yeah... Im fine." Garroth groaned in pain.
That bastard shot him.
"This was a bad idea..." Aphmau whined.
The arrow laid on the ground beside him. Garroth coverd the wound with his hands as he took deep breaths, still in unbearable pain.
"Come on, we need to get to Phoenix Drop ASAP." Aph instructed.
Worry washed over her face as she watched him.
Garroth hissed in pain, and nodded.
