Caroline stared at me with her sharp eyes. They looked like they could kill with just one wink.
"So let me guess, Bonnie sent you over here to 'babysit' me?" She said rhetorically.
"Well, the last babysitter I had was about 60 and that was when I was eight. I've got it under control but if you guys can't trust me..." She paused for a moment. She did an sassy eye roll and then carried on.

"I might have to rage out and go on a blood spree..." She answered.
God she is a bitch.
"Look, I know what it's like to lose your family! I.. I killed mine!" I yell.
She quickly turned her head to my face. She didn't believe what I had just said, I couldn't believe what I'd just said. Hopefully no-one heard me over the music. It was only me and Caroline in shock so that's a good sign.
"So is Miss goody-too-shoes a psychopath?" She asks while giggling.
"No... I killed my adopted mum and little sister." I answered scared of what was gonna pop out of my mouth next.
She was speechless. Grabbing my arm and pulling me to a quieter area, she asked all these questions; why? How old were you? Are you a vampire?
She was starting to care...
"Have i just turned her humanity back on?" I asked myself.
I opened my mouth to answer her questions but nothing came out. I couldn't speak about this anymore. It was a too sensitive topic. I realized my phone was ringing and answered the call.
"Hello?" I ask
Stefan: Hey? Where are you? There's been loads of blood bags missing at the hospital.
Me: It's not her, she's here with me.
Stefan: Where are you? I have an idea on how to get her humanity back on.
Me: I'm at the party everyone was talking about and... a-
My words came to a stop. Caroline was gone.
Me: Oh god! It's Caroline, she's gone
Stefan: I'm on my way! Try find her!
I ended the call and did what Stefan asked but it was no use. It was like she disappeared into dust.
I tried searching for Tyler and Bonnie but I could only find Bonnie.
"Bonnie... I've lost Caroline."
"That's not our problem right now!" She raises her voice with a tear dropping from her face.
"Bonnie, calm down. What happened?" I ask.
"I-I was talking to Tyler and I turned around cause someone budged into me and when I turned back around, h- he was gone! No-one can walk away that quickly... not even a supernatural creature."
"Hang on minute... You lost Ty!" I say quite loudly.
I remind myself of Kai and what he did to Ty earlier. It had to be him but why would he take Caroline?
"I need to find Kai." I say with a hint determination in my voice.
Bonnie looks at me all worried.
"Malia, Kai is a sociopath!"
"Yes, but I think he's the answer to where Caroline and Ty are." I say suspiciously.
I quickly text Stefan to say we're on our way to his and Damon's house.
We make our way out of the party and start walking. Luckily Mystic Falls wasn't far away from where the party was. It was freezing though. Maybe wearing shorts was a bad idea... Bonnie was wearing a simple black leather jacket and white v-neck shirt. Her skinny jeans had wide ripped parts in them so I'm guessing I'm not the only one who's cold.
"Are we almost there yet?" I mutter like a five year old. I had only been to the Salvatore house once or twice so I didn't know my way as well as Bonnie did. Let's just hope that Kai is there.
We finally arrive and opening the door very slowly, Bonnie poked her head inside to make sure it was clear of any violence. We walk inside and the only person to be seen is Stefan.
"Hey, seen Kai anywhere?" I ask.
"Malia... Why are you looking for Kai, he's dangerous." Stefan asks concerned.
"He may know where Ty and Caroline are." I answer.
"Ok now Tyler's missing now?" Stefan questioned.
"Yes and if we don't find them I feel as if something bad is going to happen." Bonnie answers for me.
I search everywhere over the house but Ty, Caroline nor Kai were to be found. In the other room I hear Bonnie and Stefan talking about what she meant by something bad is going to happen.
"There not here." I say walking up to them.
"I've tried calling him, he didn't pick up."
We all get distracted by Bonnie's words and stare at her.
"And why do you have his number and also what bad things are going to happen?" I ask.
Before any Stefan or Bonnie could answer, the front door swung open.
"I heard my name, all good I hope." The figure says with a smile.
It was Kai. I could tell by the sarcasm in his voice.
"Where are they Kai?" Bonnie yells to his face.
She whispers a spell and it throws him against the wall knocking an old vase off the table causing it to smash into pieces on the floor.
Damon walks into the room and gives Bonnie a sulky look.
"Really Bon Bon? That was expensive." He says while picking up the pieces.
Me and Stefan give Damon a look to tell him that that's not our biggest problem right now.
Kai whimpers in pain.
"I don't have them! Bu- But i know how to get them back!" He hollers.
"How?" I interrupt by shouting.
"What I was telling you about earlier, that's how we get them back."
Damon looks around suspiciously.
"He's tricking us." I look at Stefan who was thinking the exact same thing as Damon.
"Kai wouldn't help us just to be nice. Either something bad is going to happen to him and that's why he wants them back or-"
Damon comes to a halt as Stefan finishes off his sentence.
