It's been almost a year since matty had seen Morgan, and their moment in the shower. If that was even real. He went to see if her aunt and uncle one last time to see if they had heard from her before he had left for the states. He had stopped what was going on with Meredith the day after that night. Eight months later she had told him she was getting engaged to some guy she met on a trip to Scotland. Cool dude, owned a ton of hotels 'round Scotland with his mum and dad. Matty on the other hand, had given up the drugs - still holding onto the weed. After two weeks of not hearing from her he was wavering on doing lines, and anything his friend had but, he felt like she'd come back so he had to keep his silent promise of staying away from the drugs.

but she never came back.

Now, here he was laying in the middle of his tiled living room floor staring at the eggshell ceiling. He hated that color, it reminded him of his room at his mum's place. He ran a hand over his face and sat up, looking out the window. He felt stuffed up, he needed to get out. He always felt this way when his mind wondered towards Morgan. Grabbing his coat, he pulled his hoodie on and headed towards the elevator. The walk seemed refilling. The air filling his lungs letting him breathe again.

Mum. Just the thought of her had made him want to throw up. She had spilled the whole things to him from the plan to get all his money, to Morgan being in on it. He knew from the beginning. He knew that it went so much deeper than Morgan using him. He could tell how her actions went. He found her journal, how she wanted to know him long before his mum actually got her involved. He wasn't stupid, he seen them at Morgan's job. That was his mum's problem, she thought since Matty's life depended on drugs he was always out the loop but he wasn't.

He could have helped Minnie get in touch with her mom, or just see if she was okay. All she had to do was ask. Just ask.

"Can i get a soda. Doesn't matter which one." he told the guy at the window of the shop

He took the soda and sat at a nearby bench, watching the happy people walk past. He felt a tinge of jealousy watching them. Being in the states was a new beginning for him, a time for him to forget the past that he wanted to rid himself of. No one here knew him, no one here knows the shit things he's done, that he's said. All they know is what they found out when they first meet.

He just wished she was here. Oh pathetic Matty wishing someone was here to comfort him. Hasn't he learned that no one would ever,

"Oh matty, don't look so gloom. It's warm, and sunny in pretty old LA. Isn't this where you wanted to go?"

He hadn't dare to look up. It was the voices in his head speaking in her tone again. The weed tended to make him hear her - just another source of comfort.

"Oh Matty, come on." she pleaded

This time she looked up. She looked brand new, almost like she'd been born again. Her curly hair was up in a big bun, and her tshirt dress falling right at her knees. her feet hidden by those converse she adored.

"Minnie?"

"I've missed you."

"Well, I think it's time to catch up huh?"

*picture goes black*

This was the end?? I'm?? This was terrible!!
