OMD it was Briar my Briar my best friend and girlfriend. What are the chances I would be collecting flowers from this shop on this day at this time! She looked as beautiful as ever with a large bump a baby bump, darker hair and a glow. She must have gotten pregnant and that's why she left but if that's so, who's the dad?
She was acting cool, playing it out as if I didn't recognise her but I knew her better than I knew my self darker hair and a bump wouldn't change that.
I was paying for my flowers when I knew it was time to ask;
"When are you due Briar?" I asked
"2 months" she replied not thinking, she was too busy counting my change
I laughed and she looked up "sorry who's this Briar your talking about I'm Bianca"
"I know it's you" I laughed
"well" she said glumly "you better sit down" and she gestured me to two chair, she sat down awkwardly under the weight of her stomach, "so" I asked wanting to get straight to the point "who's the dad..."
