"Why are you sending me away? Can't you see I have a life. You just want to ruin it like you ruin EVERYTHING!" I yelled. Mom and dad just turned their back on me. I knew deep down there was no changing my parents mind unless of course, "can't you see it's you that's the problem, both of you are being selfish. you're the ones that are tearing this family apart not me, the pair of you! You think that you can just divorce each other an...." I screamed at my parents and then my dad butted in "ENOUGH! Hazel just go to your room, pack your bags, the decision is made you are going and you are going this Saturday and that is final I don't want to hear another word".

I could see Tommy smirking at me from the corner of my eye. It was equally his fault that I'm about to leave LA. The party was in full swing, everyone was there. Tommy had to go spoil it by calling mum and dad. I should have seen this coming. I mean for a ten year old he is quite an actor. I had an eye on him until someone set the bin outside on fire. How was I supposed to know he'd called for a ambulance, a fire brigade and the police? All the neighbours were outside watching the drama unfold. What they didn't know was the embarrassment I was going to suffer. Everyone was there and when I say everyone I mean EVERYONE. Worst of all my parents arrived after the emergency services had arrived so you could probably imagine what would be going through a worried parents mind. By now most of the people at the party had gone home, a few were in the bedrooms upstairs, some were lying unconscious on the floor after drowning my dads most expensive collection of wine. Which may I add would be paid for by my allowance. Not to mention the damage to the furniture I mean I'm a fourteen year old girl how was I supposed to know what to expect. I didn't exactly plan on having a party.

Well, that may have been a little bit of a white lie. The truth is I knew mum and dad were going away to sign a divorce settlement and it just so happened that the babysitter that mom and dad had hired for the night had cancelled, not trying to imply anything about my involvement in that. But anyways I convinced my parents that I could babysit Tommy and that it would be a good opportunity for me to prove to them that I was a responsible adult. They were reluctant to give it a go but I was their only hope so they had to agree. Although the party went in full swing, half way through the number of people doubled, some of which I hardly knew at all. People were roaming round the house like they owned the place, but I still had a good eye on Tommy. It started to get out of hand when someone started dancing with another boys girl and then a fight broke out. All I heard was jeers of "fight, fight fight!", there was broken glass everywhere. Sasha and Chloe helped to pick up the glass and soon after finishing that a stupid, drunk jerk decided to set the bin on fire using alcohol. I'm only human these things are bound to happen. I did manage to put the fire out, the fire crew didn't even have to lift a finger. On top of that no one even congratulated me on putting the fire out, the cheek of that.

After mom and dad arrived it was like the house met fire. They talked to the emergency departments to cool the matter off. I watched the conversation from the doorstep. If looks could kill then I'd seriously be dead right now. Mum and dad had finished speaking with them and turned towards me, their walk and body language told me everything. Dad got Sasha and Chloe a taxi, after saying goodbye to them they went. I could tell that I was going to be seriously punished. I've had a fair share of punishments in my short life so I was prepared mentally and physically. But boy, if I knew what was coming I would have thought twice about the party. School on Monday was going to be a joke and I was going to be the centre of that joke.

Yes, they were having a divorce but that didn't mean they didn't agree, both my parents decided that they had enough and were sending me to a strict boarding school in England.
