The skytrain rushed past rows and rows of houses as Isadora and Cameron chatted on their way to the mall.
"I've never met any hot guy with the name Nick!" Cameron insisted, in the middle of an argument with Isadora.
"I swear, one exists, I'll show you!" Isadora countered, pulling out her phone.
Logging on to instagram and scrolling through her followers, she tapped on a guy named "Nick Trent", scrolling through his profile.
"See! I told you that it was possible!" Isadora grinned, smugly, as Cameron's eyes widened.
"Wow, Isa, do you know this guy? Have you two met?" Cameron asked, breathlessly.
"No, but he asked me to hang out soon." Isadora replied absentmindedly.
"You're not taking me with you?" Cameron exclaimed in mock offence.
"Sorry dude, he only asked me. This is our stop, get up" Isadora pulled Cameron up, smiling apologetically.
Getting pushed off of the skytrain by multitudes of people, Isadora and Cameron made their way towards the mall. Cameron walked inside and immediately felt at home, looking around at the frozen yoghurt, clothing shops and salons. She smiled, and headed towards Sephora, and seeing her friend Anna, sprinted towards the entrance.
"Anna! I didn't know you were going to be here!" Cameron laughed, hugging Anna.
"You should know I spend all of my time here, come on Car" Anna teased, pushing Cameron.
"I told you not to call me Car anymore, my name is Cam-!" Cameron whined, only to be cut off by Anna.
"So when were you going to introduce me to your friend?" Anna asked, smiling at Isadora.
"Oh right! Anna, this is Isadora. Isadora, this is Anna." Cameron smiled, stepping back to let the two talk.
"Hey..." Isadora mumbled, shyly.
"No need to be shy, hi! I think we'll get along nicely." Anna coaxed, hugging Isadora.
"Hey, you still need to pay up for forgetting my birthday!" Cameron reminded Anna.
"Well if you want I could get you makeup." Anna replied, slyly
"I thought you were broke?" Cameron asked
"I am, just take a moment to think about it" Anna said.
"Oh, do you really think that's a good idea?" Isadora hesitated
"It'll be fine, I do it all the time" Anna assured Cameron and Isadora, leading them into the store.
"Now pick something out and give it to me, I'll get it for you." Anna encouraged, pushing the other two girls towards the cosmetics.
"Okay..." They replied, walking away.
"I have a bad feeling about this" Isadora expressed to Cameron
"So do I, but let's just go with it." Cameron said, firmly.
"Alright, I guess I'll just get mascara, what about you?" Isadora asked
"I'll get eyeshadow because I'm trash for the Naked 3 palette" Cameron replied, picking it up.
The fluorescent lights flickered as they walked back to Anna.
"You got your stuff?" She asked, holding out her hands
"Yeah" Isadora replied, placing her mascara in Anna's upturned palm
Cameron just silently handed the eyeshadow to Anna.
"Alright, lets get out of here." Anna said, placing the makeup into an Aritzia bag.
As they exited the store, and rounded a corner, they heard a voice behind them saying
"Excuse me girls, may I ask why you're stealing?"
