Let's talk.

I want you to get to know me, before you judge me. Usually everyone does, you know those quirky typical girls that think it's right to shimmy their way into your life, because they think they're better than you? Well that's me. One look at me and I send them running for the hills-with jealousy of course. I mean If I do say so myself, I'm completely amazing there is no doubt about it. I am everyone's dream girl, dream friend, I have the dream life. Hell, I even own my own bakery! Imagine that, only 19? I have a business of my own. You wish you were like me don't you? Well too bad.

Some may say I sound like an arrogant asshole? Well I say I just have everything that I want, I am everything that I want. I do not need anyone, or want anyone. My mind set will not change. I earned this life. It came with hard work. Nothing comes easy. Remember that.

Do you hear that? it's that annoying bell again. I think it's time I get out of my head.

"Hello," something follows that wretched sound,

ring ring ring.

Why did I ever get that bell installed. Worst idea ever I tell you.

"Hello?" How persistent.

Lifting up my hands I put a fake smile onto my face, a plastic joy slithering out of my throat.
"Hello welcome to sweet and short! My service is sweet and SHORT! What can I get for you today."

You could say today was not my day. I was tired and sore, and all these fat ass's always wanted food.  I could not wait to close down and get out of here. But being humble and giving hospitality, was a must right?

"I would like you." That was the moment I cured my lip back in disgust my perfectly manicured nails, no longer tapping the register.

He had some nerve didn't he?

"I do not have time to serve cocky guys who think they're all that, sorry we would clash too much. You may want me but all I want is for you to get the hell out of my shop. I can't abide to boys who sexually harass girls within the amount of four words."

"Sexual harassment? isn't that a bit of a leap," he stated. I watched as his eyebrows came together, In confusion, his full pink lips lifting on one side. I then found his eyes. Well let's just cut to the chase, they were a deep orange with flecks of gold and a reddish brown. I was not the type of girl to stare into anyways eyes and pick apart the colors. But he was unique. I could tell that from one look.

I didn't have room for beautiful boys, who came into a bakery shop, ones who weren't looking for any type of cupcakes other than mine and believe me or not, I was used to this and I could feel myself falling in love already. I could see our children and our house with the big white gate, a grassy lawn with a rose garden. Bile rose in my throat, kidding- I'd rather die. Literally.

I ran my tongue over my bottom lip in thought. I hadn't noticed that he had walked closer to me. I could now see his black hair that was high with short sides, his nearly bronze skin and thick eyebrows. If I wasn't mistaken he was a brown goddess. His skin was flawless, I would kill for skin like that, if I didn't already have it and was some inconvenient ugly girl with stress and worries.

Putting my pride aside, I ran my eyes over his physique and was pleased. Maybe I could make time. Oh man what was I thinking. "My name is Jane," I knew that he was going to ask. Who wouldn't. Blowing my long wavy brown hair out of my eye I waited for his.

"Gage." He stated, 'I know you're closing up soon, want to go out for a coffee it would be completely on me." In that moment was it bad I imagined him with boiling hot delicious liquid splashed all over his chest singing him. Biting that image away. I threw in the white towel, Maybe I could give him a chance.
