My name is Alexis Brown. I'm gay as well. Nobody really knows this but me and my best friend Becs. I'm an only child and my parents are always working so I'm used to being alone most of the time. The other times I'm with Becs. We've known each other since we were 4 and we are 15 now. We have had the most amazing memories ever. We are like sisters more than friends.

Right now I'm in my room on my laptop watching YouTube videos. My favourite you tubers are Rose and Rosie I don't know why but some how they made me feel comfortable with who I am an how I feel. I'm in a middle of one of their videos when in interrupted by my mum.

"Alexis we are home!" She shouted

"Ok" I whispered.

After I finished the video I went down stairs to see my mum cooking dinner, with a tears in her eyes.

"Mum are you ok?"

"Yh I'm fine sweetie" she quickly rubs the tears away. Somethings not right. Dad always come home with her but why didn't he today.
"Mum where's dad?" I said slowly but with some curiosity.

Once I said that I instantly regretted it my mum just bursted into tears I went up to hug her even though I'm not a hugger.

"H-he ch-cheated o-n m-me A- Alexis" I have never seen my mum like this ever and by him she meant dad breathed out.

"Mum don't worry about him he's a dick" I'm not really aloud to swear so. I wanted to change the subject and quick before she cries even more.

8 years later.

"Alexis get up you have school today" why does she have to shout she can easily come into my room and wake me up.

I got dressed, put my hair up into a pony tail got my bag then headed down stair where my mum and step-dad was.

"Morning sweetie"

"Morning I'm gonna leave early for school if that is ok. Could you give me a lift John please?"

"Yh when do you wanna leave kiddo?"

"Is now ok I just don't wanna be late for my first day back"

"Sure" he turned to my mum " I'll see you in 10 minutes babes"

"Ok babe have fun Alexis"

"I won't"

We said goodbye and went to school. It only took 5 minutes to get to school. I asked John if he could pick me up and he said yes. I see Beca in the distance so I went up to her.

"Hey Becs how was your holiday"

"It was great I went to London what about yours?"

"Well John took me and my mum to the beach, then took my clothes shopping and school shopping then my dad visited us and you can see how that ended"

"Only ok. That would be amazing for me"

"Yh well you like being spoiled am I right?"

"Yh but it is rare if I do get spoiled, any ways lets go to home room"

We walked to home room, Becs thinks that are home room teacher is hot. He handed out are times table I was quite happy with mine.

"Let me look at your lessons" with that she just took it off of me, I have:
Period 1 - Maths
Period 2 - Science
Break
Period 3 - health and social
Period 4 - English
Lunch
Period 5 - PE
Home

Once the bell rang we headed of to are first lesson maths. We got to maths to find out we have the most horrible teacher you could ask for. The first lesson was just about what we will be doing through out the year and when we will learn about it. We started to learn about algebra for the rest of the lesson which was only 15 minutes.

Once Maths was done and over with me and Becs headed of to my favourite lesson ever Science. Last year my science teacher told me that I was to smart to be in middles set so fingers cross I have moved up in science. But know that I'm thinking about it Becs is in my science and she is a bit dumb so I'm gonna be in middle set again.

When we got to science it was just getting are books with facts and questions on it and answered questions and out what we already knew about atoms. Some people tried to make joke out of it like 'why can't you trust atoms? Because the make up everything' for some people that was funny and to other it was 'what the hell are you doing' but not me for me it was 'kill me know'
