The last few days had been dramatic. I had moved back home, back into the home of drama. Jack was at the flat as far as I was concerned.

Sally and I weren't talking. She had screamed and shouted, raved and ranted at me when I got back from the police station that night.

Dad had told me that he didn't blame me and that it was a heat of the moment thing, but I wasn't sure how much I believed that.

9:30pm
I woke up. It was weird being back in my old room. Everything that had happened in here-good and bad-would come rushing back every morning.

I picked my phone off the beside table. I had a message from Uncle Jimmy asking me to come down to the station. I was curious as to why as I didn't know what I had done.

Thankfully I didn't have to go to work as Becca had given me a day off. I didn't know why she was being so nice to me.

I got out of bed and put on my tight, low cut black T-shirt dress with some thick black tights. I then chucked my leather jacket on top. It seemed slightly inappropriate to wear but if there was a chance that I would see James I wasn't going to miss an opportunity to impress.

There was a knock on my door. I opened it to see Sally standing there with Shannon on her hip.
"Why aren't you at school?" I questioned.
"I'm not feeling too good." Sally replied bluntly.
It was sad as Sally and I were normally the best of friends but after the recent events she was more interested in Shannon than me, but I just left her be.
"Do you mind looking after Shannon for a bit? I've got to go see Uncle Jimmy." I said.
"Sure. It's not as if I'm not used to it." Sally quipped.
"Don't take your anger out on me." I said walking past her down the stairs.
"Says the girl who looks like a stripper when she's going to meet her uncle." Sally shouted back.

I walked into the kitchen where Dad and Tina stood at the kitchen counter.
"What are you and Sally shouting about?" Dad said.
"Nothing of any importance." I told him.
"Where are you going, dressed like that?" Tina asked.
"Uncle Jimmy asked me to go to the station, but I have a shoot afterwards." I told Tina hiding the real reason for my over the top outfit.
Tina nodded in response.
"Well I'd better be off. See you later." I said.

11:00am
I pulled up at the station and got out of the car.
I walked into the station and over to the woman sat at reception.
"Hi, I'm here to see Jimmy." I said.
"Officer or Superintendent?" She asked.
Both I thought but I said "Superintendent." aloud.
She nodded "He's through there." She said pointing in the direction of Jimmy's office.

I walked towards his office.
"Hey." A voice said behind me.
I turned to see James- Jimmy was a nickname. His cheeky smile got me every time.
"Hey." I replied.
"You're looking gorgeous." He said moving closer and closer.

Soon enough I was backed up against the wall.
I could see his eyes staring down at my boobs. I placed his cheek in my hand, pulling him closer towards me. I then felt him grab hold of my bum.
I placed my lips onto his and kissed him.

Down the corridor a door opened and we sprung away from each other.

James put his arm around me.
"Why are you here?"
"To see Jimmy."
"Well it was nice seeing you." He said taking his arm off of my shoulder.
I smiled cheekily at him.
"See you around." I called heading for Jimmy's office.

I knocked on the door of Jimmy's office and then pushed open the door.
"Lola." Jimmy said as I walked in and took a seat the opposite side of the desk to him.
"What's up?" I said.
"One of the officers came to me yesterday. They told me they saw you with Officer Hunt."
"Who?"
"James." Jimmy clarified.
"I can talk to men you know."
"No they saw you kiss him."
"When was this?"
"The night you made your allegations about Luke."
"You mean the night I told the truth about Luke."
"Whatever. Lola I don't want you in a relationship with one of my officers."
"Jimmy!" I exclaimed.
"Lola I'm being serious." Jimmy warned.
"Why can't you just let me do what I want with my life?"
"I let you do whatever you want but I don't want one of my officers to be the man that finishes you or breaks your heart."
"What if one of your officers became the man I was going to marry or the man I had children with?" I questioned.
"He could still break your heart." Jimmy suggested.
"I just want a break from the endless cycle that is Finn and Jack. I've been off and on with Finn since I was 16, and I've been with Jack for the last three years. I just want something different for once."
"I understand that Lola of course I do."
"Then please Jimmy just let me try things with James."
Jimmy paused for a few moments and then he sighed.
"Fine you can try things with James but I'm warning you Lola, don't come to me when it all ends in tears."
I got out of my chair and went round and hugged him.
"Thank you Jimmy."
"See you later kid."

I walked out of Jimmy's office towards the exit.
"What did he want?"
I turned to see James.
"He gave me a lecture."
"About what?" James asked.
"About you." I said.
"Why what have I done?" James exclaimed.
"Nothing yet but you might break my heart in the future." I said echoing Jimmy's words.
"Well we'll have to wait and see."
"Yeah but anyway he said we could be together. Not that I wanted his permission."
"Cheeky. We should go out for dinner this week." James said.
"Sure. I'll let you know when I'm free."
"Alright then. See you around." James flashed me a cheeky grin once again before heading down the corridor.

I walked out of the station. It did feel weird the fact that I was getting to know someone else and the prospect of going on a date with someone that wasn't Finn or Jack. It felt dangerous, but I liked it.
