"We can't put this off forever, Y/N, we have to do it eventually."
You were sitting on your couch in your old house next to your twin brother Sean, who was trying to convince you to clean out your mother's room, you had gone back to the house many times saying you would finally do it, but you never did. She passed a month ago and you had to go through her stuff but you couldn't bring yourself to do it.
"I know it's hard, but it's been a month and Mum wouldn't want it ta keep us down, remember when Dad left? She was a mess but she did her best to keep everyone in good spirits." You just nodded, feeling the tears run down your face. Sean leaned over and gave you a hug. You two were inseparable, more so after your Dad left when you were 10 and you got even closer in the past month.
You two sat there for awhile, staring off into space, you checked the time and it was half-two in the afternoon, you decided it was best to clean out her stuff now, before it sat there untouched forever. You stood up suddenly, walked towards your mother's room and turned back.
"C'mon Sean, if we don't do this now...we never will." You said with a sigh. He got up and followed you down the hall. You stopped and stared at the door. This is it, you thought, after all this time... You were aware of Sean behind you, waiting patiently. "Sean, I don't think I can do this"
"Y/N, it's alright, I absolutely hate that she's gone, you know that, but, even though we lost her, we still have each other." Even he was almost in tears.
"I guess you're right." Taking a ragged breath, you opened the door and walked in with Sean hesitantly following you, realizing he wasn't ready either.

Hey everyone! :)
How are you liking it so far? This is my first book so be soft but I am very open to any constructive criticism. I had so much fun writing this, I've been watching Jackaboy's videos, trying to get his personality on point. Also, I am American so I'm doing as much research on the Irish as possible because it takes place Ireland...for now ;) Anyways, thanks to meap95588, I kinda have an idea of what I'm doing, so this might not suck. Thank you guys, and I'll see you dudes IN THE CHAPTER!!! ;)
