She woke up to her alarm clock ringing in her ear. Groaning, she made her way to her closet door where she began rummaging through her closet, hoping for something to wear on her first day of high school. You know what they say, " New school; new you." With that thought in mind, she made her way down the stairs and to the kitchen where she ever so graciously grabbed a protein bar and rushed out the door. There in the midst of the driveway stood her ride, her cousins William and Noelle, whom lived two blocks away. She hopped in the back seat, and they were off.
Thoughts upon thoughts went about her head as she partied to the song on the radio. Music was her passion. It helped her through everything; the good, the bad, and even those times where she felt nothing at all. Sooner than later, they arrived at the front entrance of their new school, East High School, home of the wildcats. Rumors, not that she believed them, expressed how musical legends were born here. Truth or not, East High was not ready for the musician that is Emma McCalister.
Applying the knowledge of every high school chick flic movie she ever watched, Emma walked through the bold doors of East High and everything changed. She now longer was a lost pre-teen that had barely made it though middle school, she was a freshman in high school that was now was entering a fresh start to show her capabilities.
