Lance rushed down the stairs
"Just stay there! I'll be right back." Keith looked around before sitting down on Lance's bed.

Downstairs
Lance held his breath as he walked up to his mother. She didn't look as mad as he thought she'd be.
"You called?"
"Yes. Now, Piper came down to tell me what you were doing," Lance gulped
"Listen, you're free to do whatever you want, you're 20 years old. Just make sure you aren't so loud. What I'm really mad about is that you didn't do the dishes." His mother began to laugh, "The look on your face was priceless! But seriously. Do the dishes please." She walked away still giggling to herself. Lance let out the breath he'd been holding, sighing as he began go wash the dishes. He's never scrubbed dried spaghetti sauce off a plate so fast he thought he might actually brake it. Ha. Kinda like that one scene in the Incredibles...

"Be careful, you don't want to brake that plate, Ma got it from Dad last Christmas." Lance whipped his head around, delighted to see his older brother, Sammy. "Hey! You guys are back from Arizona! How was it?"
"Eh, pretty normal. But I did get some great shots." Sammy and his family had recently gone to Arizona, one, because his wife, Lily and their kids have never been there and thought it would be a nice trip. Second, was because Sammy works as a photographer, and he wanted to get some shots of the night sky there.
"Noice."
"Please, don't say that." Sammy commented with a hint of amusement.

Lance laughed to himself and finished doing the dishes.
Keith is great. I hope he's the one- wait. Of course he's the one, what am I talking about. Pffff he's got a mullet. Omg, his eyes, holy shit, their so beautiful I could stare into them forever.

Okay, okay. I need to calm, but honestly he is amazing. In just the 4 hours I've known him, I don't think I've felt this close to someone. I've never felt so comfortable in sharing anything and everything. I know he's someone who would let me lean on his shoulder if I ever needed it, and I'd be there for him too. Always. I want to get to know him even more, know him inside and out. And I want to love him. At some point at least, but I know I will. I just hope it's soon. Well, soon as in, a few weeks or months for now, I'm not sure if I love him now.

"-Lance! Laaaaaance."
"Huh?"
"Jeez finally, you've been staring into space for a long time, what were you thinking about?"
Lance turned around and found Keith sitting at on an island chair with his head resting on a hand. He looked absolutely adorable to Lance. His long eyelashes covering part of his purple and space-like eyes. They hung low too, like he had just taken a nap, Lance's black shirt was a nice fit on him, making Lance very angry that he couldn't see what was underneath.
"Oh, um, just....jazz, y'know?"
"Jazz?"
"Yea. Jazz, like, stuff."
"Right."
"Mm hm..." It's awkward again
"We're you thinking of me?"
Lance's face began to heat up, "Maybe." Keith leaned forward, the eye contact he held was unbearable. It was filled with lust and desire.
"Keith, are you okay?"
"Yup, I'm fine." He shook his head before setting it down on the counter. "I'm just very tired."

Ha. He's going to be the end of me.
"Hey Lance?"
"Yea?"
"I've been thinking too, well, I did for a bit then fell asleep but anyway. I'll be there for you, if you need anything. I'll do anything for you. And, if I fuck up, anywhere in this relationship, please. Tell me, okay? Cause if I do, I want to fix it, cause if I were to lose you, I don't know what I would do. Can you just, promise that you'll love me? At some point? Cause, I haven't felt anything like that in a long time. Otherwise." He paused and looked up at Lance. Taking a deep breath in and then let it out. "Otherwise, I'll have to go back to my shitty life. My disappointment of a thing I call life. Listen, I've been thrown around from family to family. Each of them have been not what I expected parents to be. Their the ones who think they're the right thing when they aren't. The ones who will let their 10 year old play in the street at 11 o'clock at night. With at least one of my "family members" saying that I wasn't good enough, or my grades weren't high enough. So, it comes down to who will give up first, them, or me? But now I realize that you won't do any of that to me. You wouldn't question how smart I am, or the amount of love I'm sharing. You'll know that, I'll make sure you do. And I know that you'll never make me feel like giving up, so I'll do my best to make you fell the same. I'm not forcing you to do anything, I just. I-I-"

Lance stopped him from going on further, knowing that it'll tear him apart even more than before. He grabbed Keith's wrists firmly and looked into his eyes. "Keith. Don't worry about all that stuff. I'll make you feel like you matter, cause you do. There's nothing in the world that'll make me feel otherwise. I don't care if you rob a bank, or do something horrible, I'll still love you. Forever and ever and ever and ever and ev-"

Keith pressed his lips the Lance's in a way of telling him to shut up, then pulled away, "Thank you Lance."
"You bet." Then, it hit Lance. He did love Keith. He's his soulmate, so I a way, that love was already kind of there. Standing here, in his kitchen, staring into the space that is Keith's eyes made him realize this.

"I love you. Fuck. Wait, well, you know what I mean, it's like, ugh uh."
"Lance."
"Yes?"
"I love you too."

The next four months they spent a whole lot of time together. Slowly falling more and more in love. So much that it began to hurt for them to be apart for more than a few days.
