Chapter 1
Isabella's P O V
It was another sunny day, here in Jacksonville, Florida. The sun shining brightly, the birds chirping, and the grass growing back. I was riding my skate board on my way to school. From where I live it only takes 15 minutes to get there. I go to school at Casterfield High. I'm 5.4, I have curly light brown hair, mixture of green and blue eyes, and tan skin. This will be my first day at this school, since I moved from Alabama. I dislike being the new kid because then all the kids stare at you especially when you have a Spanish background. The curves are then given to you and the accent is one thing I don't have. Today I wore some ripped shorts that weren't too short, a tank top that had sleeping with sirens on it. You probably expect me to be a nerd but I'm not. I'm your average boring person, I'm socially awkward, and nothing extraordinary ever happens to me. So, this year I plan on keeping a low profile but if someone messes with me it is on. I'm one of those girls that dislikes blonde hair, I don't know why I just do. I get good grades but not straight A's, and I don't talk much unless you talk to me.
I put my foot down and popped my skateboard up. I fixed my grey beanie, while my grey vans stepped in puddles of water. I carried my skateboard and entered the school. I took a deep breath and noticed that this school was already the stereotypical kind of school. The blue lockers in the hallway looked like they were just painted. There were the jocks talking to the cheerleaders, the emos, the bad boys, nerds, geeks and last but not least their was one girl that reminded me of myself, socially awkward. She had shoulder length black hair, bright green eyes and lightly tanned. I walked over to her and stuck my hand out.
"Hey, you seem a lot like me. I'm Isabella, Isabella Foster, but you can just call me Bell."
She smiled and shook my hand.
"I'm Alana, Alana Winters, it is nice to meet you Bell."
I nodded and she asked me, "New?"
"Yes, do you mind showing me where the office is?"
She nodded and led me there. We stayed in silence but it wasn't that awkward silence but a comfortable one. I could trust her.
The principal gave me my schedule and told Alana to show me around.
Once we got out of there I breathed out.
"That guy seriously needs a breath mint."
She busted out laughing and that was when the whole school and I mean literally the whole school looked at us. My eyes widened while everyone looked at Alana like she was an alien. I felt as someone's eyes on my head, so I turned but I couldn't find the pair of eyes. I then heard whispers.
"The new girl is hot, I would like to tap that."
I almost vomited on that one.
"The new girl made Alana, the socially awkward girl, laugh."
Alana led me to her locker quickly which mine ended up being next to. I shoved my skateboard in and Alana said "Everyone got quiet because I don't laugh or talk at all because I have no friends."
I smiled glad that I was the first one.
I slung my arm around her shoulder and said "Well now you have one. "
She smiled and we were just about to start walking to homeroom when the bell rang. Alana gasped and I just laughed. Everyone piled into the rooms, and we walked down the hallway. We were walking down the hallway when I heard a guy wolf whistle. Don't respond, don't respond. Alana looked back but I nudged her to keep going. But instead of keep walking Alana froze and I felt someone hit my butt. I immediately turned around and punched the guy in the face.
