Thanksgiving break had finally stumbled upon the teens. Prep Packets were handed out in majority of the classes in preparation for midterms, which would start the second week of December, right before Christmas break. It all honesty, it was crazy. Some students would study while others wouldn't, it was Thanksgiving Break; no one cared. Justin and Vanessa walked out hand in hand. From afar, Vanessa saw Chaz and Ryan laughing with a few girls. Suddenly, Chaz's eyes wandered towards Vanessa's direction while Ryan wiped the tears from his face, from whatever was so funny. Chaz's eyes locked in for a moment and Justin noticed. He squeezed her hand for a moment. Chaz gave off a small smirk before returning to his friends. Vanessa quickly looked away.

"You okay?" Justin whispered.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Van chirped.

"Bieber!" A male voice called, one that Bieber had heard so many times that he knew exactly who it was, Dwayne.

"Bieber." Voices echoed, which only came from his crew. A warm laugh escaped from Justin. Justin threw up two fingers, indicating that he was truly acknowledging them.

"What are we getting into this week?" Dwayne questioned before placing an arm overs his shoulder.

"I don't know what you're getting into, but I'm spending time with the fam and Vanessa."

"I was thinking of inviting a few friends over for a pre-thanksgiving brunch. I thought it would be cool. Everyone could dress up as young adults. I was also thinking you could perform. I know you're a well-rounded artist. Maybe acpella or something jazzy on the piano." Dwayne smirked, nodding at Van after a moment and the focusing back on Justin.

"That seems cool, but honestly, I think I'm just going to spend time with my family. I'll let you know if anything changes."

"Good, you have my number." Dwayne sighed, perusing his lips before nodding his head towards the exit with his friends heading in that very direction.

After they were long gone, Justin began to speak again.

"I forgot to tell you, my mother invited you over for Thanksgiving dinner. It's usually just me and my mother, sometimes my grandparents and occasionally, a few friends. She thought it would be nice to have my girl-" He stopped himself before clenching his jaw, pissed at himself, "to have you over as well." He clarified. Vanessa chewed on her cheek before sighing, not letting the slip up affect her.

"That's so nice of her, but my father is coming back the day before Thanksgiving. He wants to have a family dinner, which is odd. He still wants me to be home though. I guess he figured I'd be with Chaz or something."

Justin nodded and attempted to not sound too disappointed.

"He doesn't know that you and Chaz aren't cool anymore."

"Nope."

Justin didn't push anymore, she clearly had nothing left to say.

"Well, if you want, you can stop by the day after or even this weekend? Left overs are usually great-at least for the holidays."

Vanessa chuckled slightly.

"Yeah, I'd like that a lot actually. Let your mom know I said thank you and I'll see what I can do. I'll make sure not to eat any of my left overs because although, it's good at first- I recall as a child how much a hated eating dry turkey and the same greens."

Justin howled, as they exited the building, his eyes watering even more in the process.

"You're right. Oh, I got something for you." Justin stated as they walked along the sidewalk.

"You got something for me?" She questioned furrowing her eyebrows.

"Yeah, walk with me to my car real quick."

"You park so far away." Van groaned. Justin laughed lowly and squeezed her hand lightly.

"I promise it'll be worth it."

A loud squeal and the a distant scream erupted in the parking lot.

"You bought me an iPhone?" Vanessa yelled, causing a few peers to look at her as they made their ways to their cars or the busses.

"Yeah, I'm sick of seeing you with that blackberry." Justin's admitted.

"You're gonna leave me alone about that stupid phone." Vanessa laughed, punching his shoulder playfully. Justin laughed before scooping her up lightly and placing a light kisses against her soft face.

"Justin, stop." Vanessa whined, small giggles erupting from her in the process. He soon put her down and kisses her plump lips one last time.

"Now, we can FaceTime whenever. You have an iMac don't you?"

"Yeah, it's been sitting-"

"You're telling me you own an iMac, but you've never hand an iPhone? Where do your priorities lay?" He joked, widening his eyes. Vanessa rolled her eyes before examining the white box that had the exterior design of the phone on it.

"I can't believe you did this. I can't even accept this. Where did you even-"

"Van, it's okay. I thought it would be a nice Christmas gift, but clearly," he coughed in a joking manner. "I just thought you deserved it sooner. It's nothing."

Vanessa rolled her eyes, a cheeky grin still on her face.

"You still didn't have to buy this for me. These are expensive, I could've gotten myself one. Thank you though, baby boy. This is very sweet of you." She chirped as she rose onto her tip toes and wrapped her arms around his neck. She placed multiple kisses onto his pink lips.

Justin smiled through the kiss and pulled her closer to him, before playing with the hem of her sweater. It was chilly, but the twos warmth brought them comfort as they showed affection.

"I should go." Van breathed as they pulled away. Justin panted lightly before nodding and placing a long kiss onto her forehead.

"Text me, yeah?" Justin smirked.

"Definitely." Vanessa blushed, pulling herself away from him and heading back towards the front of the school where her car was.

Justin chewed on his lower lip as he wanted her inch further and further away from him.

He enjoyed watching her approach him, but he also enjoyed the view of watch her leave.
