Claytrix jolted back to reality to the smell of smoke filling the air coming from the square of District 12. But it surprised her since she was about half a mile away from the town square in the front yard of her house in the Victors Village. She looked over in the direction of the town square, squinting her eyes to see black smoke beginning to form in the sky. She felt a tap on her shoulder, causing her to look up to see her mother who sat down next to her.

"I don't get why he did this. I mean he said he wouldn't, and now we're all back to were we started. You almost got killed, Finnick, Katniss best friend, died for nothing, and so did so many other people who should be here be here right now. And now I or someone that we know and love could be sent into the games" Claytrix said listing things that are going wrong now. "Yeah neither do I. I just hope things aren't as bad as they once were" her mother Prim told her. "Anyway you should go get dressed and help your little sister with her hair before the repping" Prim told Claytrix standing up and walking back inside the big house.

She sat there for a few more seconds when she stood up and walked into the dull colored house closing the door behind her. She walked into her little sisters room to see her trying to do her hair by herself but of course was failing. Claytrix laughed at Arabella as she walked up to her taking her and began to undo the messy braid.

A few minutes past when Arabella finally spoke. "Are you scared" Arabella asked Claytrix shyly. "Are you" she asked her little sister trying to make sure she doesn't get scared if she knew the truth of how Claytrix felt about the repping. "Kinda. I just- I just don't want anyone to get hurt" she told Claytrix. "Well I can promise you that no one you know and love will get hurt" Claytrix told her little sister tying the end of her braid back with a clear rubber band.

"You look beautiful" she told her little sister picking up a necklace from off Arabella's dresser that hade a bronze key at the end that belonged to their father. "I'm pretty sure dad would want you to wear this" Claytrix said taking the necklace and began to place it around Arabella's next when she pulled away and shook her head no. "You should, you two were inseparable literally even with Maddox you were probably his favorite" Arabella said to her older sister taking the necklace out of her hand and put it around Claytrix neck for her to wear. "Thanks" she told her sister as she gave her a kiss on the forehead and walked out of her room into her own.

She walked into her room to see a light blue dress with a tan belt and a pair of tan flats. She quickly changed into the dress and did a side fish braid with her dirty blonde hair. She walked out of her room into the living room to see her older brother Maddox in blue jeans, a white button up shirt tucked in his jeans, black dress shoes, and his light brown hair slicked back.

"Ah don't you look cute" Maddox said to Claytrix playing with her. "Yeah yeah what ever" she said ignoring what he just said.

A small amount of time passed when it was time to head down to the square. We all stood up and walked out of the house to see their cousins Grant and Madeline in their nice clothes with no emotion on their faces with their parents Katniss and Peta, Claytrix, Arabella, and Maddox's aunt and uncle, with Prim behind her kids.

They meet up at the opening of the Victors Village before they begin for the town square.

"You guys ready" Katniss asked the kids with a little worry in her voice. "Nope" all the kids said in unison.
