The Hunter, The Alpha And Me.

Cold Hearted

As I stared into the hunters eyes, glowing with pride and satisfaction, and with a smug crooked smile he raised the silver dagger above his head

“Say your last words Princess Athena”

And with that he brought the knife down. She remained still, her face pale and colourless and she stared into my eyes.

I looked into my great grandmother’s eyes. Dead. But it wasn’t over, not for years to come; it will travel through generations upon generations. Peace may be in reality but not here, not ever. The hunter didn’t know I existed, didn’t sense my presence or my screams as I called for her...I turned around hearing a branch snap, and my heart beat accelerated, I wanted to run but my mind was frozen.  I turned back to my mother only to realise that she wasn’t there.

In her place was me. 

 Everything went cold, then black...then nothing.

Luna...Luna...Snap out of it! Alec commanded. Now! He snapped, this time using his beta tone, which echoed through my mind, making me shiver. Thank god he was one of my best friends – because if he wasn’t, speaking to the Royal Princess with a tone like that he would probably never see daylight again.

“Miss White!” someone else snapped, I soon realized that I was stuffed in a classroom, with about 30 other students, who were gawking at me like I had just farted in the middle of a lesson – in which I knew for a fact that hadn’t happened. Alec was softly jabbing my ribs, without anyone noticing, snapping me back into reality, but also stopping me from going back into my vision, for that I was grateful.

“Miss White, next time you want to go day dreaming, please do share, the principal would love to hear what you have to say” She snapped again.

“Sorry Mrs Anderson, it won’t happen again...but the answer is 13.69” I replied politely with a smile.

“Good, and make sure it doesn’t...And yes that’s correct” she smirked as she returned to the white board to write more questions.

If only you were a shifter, right now you would lip locking with the floor in front of the whole class, then walking to the estate building so you can kiss your sorry ass goodbye bitch!  

I heard Alec chuckle beside me, obviously listening to my banter through my thoughts. Even I have to admit mind link is annoying most times, but it really does have it perks. Every now and then. The rest of the lesson drove by quickly, and by the time I rechecked the clock, it was time to go to our next lesson. I grabbed my things, and turned around and made my way out, with Alec by my side.

“Jeez Luna” Alec chuckled as we made our way down the corridors “I knew you hated the woman but I never thought you could think that evil” he chuckled again, impressed with my banter.

“Well what can I say, karma’s a bitch, wait... so am I” I giggled winking at him

“Luna!”

“Uh-oh, here comes trouble” he smirked, but rolling his eyes playfully at the same time, which made me laugh harder.

“Luna!” She shouted again. I turned around to see Blaze running towards us, her dark curly hair bouncing, as she ran. She stopped in front of us, with a grin starting to touch the edge of her lips. “Guess what, guess what?”
