Steady breathing.

"Fight me," she shouted, launching a stream of water at Katsuki's face. He dodged easily, shooting forward and swiping his legs underneath her's.

She fell, knocking the air out of her lungs.

"I don't have time for this Wanko," he growled as he stood over her, looking just about as demonic as he sounded.

Her heart throbbed in her ears and she shot out at him, planting her foot onto his chest and kicking him back with all of her strength. He staggered back and that's when she relentlessly launched stream after stream of water at him. She twirled her body over and over with every stream, hoping to knock him down but without fail he soon began to recognize her patterns.

"Wanko," he snarled, his face and clothes dripping water. "Don't make me hurt you."

Steady breathing.

She brought her arms back, the water in his clothes and hair flowing back to her palms to form large orbs of water.

"I need to get to that worthless Deku," he snarled, taking steps towards her, his palm crackling. He punched the ground infront of her, causing it to explode. Rubble flew in all sorts of directions and smoke and dust clouded her view.

The orbs in her hands splattered to the ground as she brought her hands up to cover her face. That's when she felt him move past her. He had grabbed onto her backpack with both hands. She turned her head to look at him, her eyes wide.

With a 'bang' there was a splatter of water on the ground, followed by the sound of falling plastic. The force caused her to fall to her hands and knees scraping her palms on the ground. Her ears were ringing and she turned to watch Katsuki walk away, leaving her.

The hero team had won. Uraraka had successfully captured the nuclear weapon for the team. Awako was the only member generally unscathed besides the scrapes on her palms. She stared at the replays on the screen of Izuku's and Katsuki's fight as All Might spoke.

"Kurage-san seemed to give up too quickly. She fought hard but didn't do much else afterwards." Awako snapped out of her trance and turned her attention to the girl who spoke, Yaoyorozu Momo. Her cheeks flushed and she looked at her feet. She was right. She just kind of wandered around, looking for where Uraraka was. She turned to look at the girl, who still seemed a little green from overusing her quirk. Placing her hand on her back she gently rubbed, hoping to help a little bit.

She refused to look at Katsuki for the rest of the time, taking the time to talk to Uraraka a little more and cheer on Tsuyu.

After everyone's evaluations they headed back to class, changing back into their uniforms. By then Awako had developed a small headache from overuse of her powers so she simply laid her head on her desk, keeping an arm over her head. From beneath it she stared at Katsuki, who seemed to look dejected.

"He must be taking the loss pretty hard," she thought to herself, closing her eyes.

It wasn't until after class that Izuku returned, looking rather beat-up and with his arm in a sling. It made her smile to see everyone rush to talk to him. Even Tsuyu went to introduce herself. A few of the students asked Awako a few questions about her quirk and knowing Katsuki and Izuku. The attention didn't help her headache but by the end of the day she had exchanged numbers a couple of times. Uraraka, who let Awako call her Ochako, Eijirou, and surprisingly Momo had been added to the list.

"Ah, Kurage, I want to speak with you," Aizawa called as she got up to gather her things. She exchanged glances with Tsuyu before telling her "Go ahead, I'll message you later."
