The music was loud, but that's how it should be at a college party. Drunk and sweaty bodies ground together on the dance floor without any particular rhythm. The young man stood behind the Dj booth causing the crowd to go wild. The young woman stood alone at the table with her red cup staring at the young man hungrily. He caught eye contact with her, quickly clicking on a playlist he had to keep the music going. He knew that he was a bit drunk and that he should go home soon, but he couldn't help but talk to her.
"Hey. I'm Zayn."
"Gabrielle." She smiled back.
"Gabi. I like it."
"How about we go upstairs and talk a bit. I'd be able to hear you better." He said into her ear.
"I'd like that." She said back before she followed him to the stairs.
