Jayson POV
The next day, Damon and I were going to Alyse's apartment again, to sort out our train tickets.
"Let's go dude."
"Why are you rushing Damon, it's fucking seven in the morning."
"Well, I am hungry, and we will be meeting at Alyse's apartment for breakfast. So move your skinny ass"
We were going to Alyse's house to have breakfast as well as sorting out our tickets. Being Alyse, she would always want us to feel welcome, meaning that she wanted us to have breakfast prepared at her house rather than us making our own. She would always say there is no need and it wasn't a big deal for her to prepare another two servings.
We left our apartment building and started walking towards the subway station.
"So are you hyped to meet the 5th member of our group?" Asked Damon after a while of walking.
"Yeah, sure," I muttered as I took my earphones out.
It took us a 10-minute ride in the subway till we reached our stop. We got off and started walking towards the street where Alyse's apartment was situated.
"Bro, do you want to run, I'm fucking hungry?"
"Why the rush?" I was still annoyed from the day before. "You can go ahead yourself. I'm going to keep on walking."
"Suit yourself. Later dude." He hollered at me.
I kept on walking but since there was no way in getting out of this trip, I decided to make a list in my mind of what to take.
So firstly, I would need money, but the shit thing is, I don't have much. I saved some in my bank account so I guess I would have to use some of it. Damon has already told me that he would be paying a fraction of what I needed so that gives me a breather.
I kept on making a list in my mind without really paying attention to where I was walking, and from there, I walked straight into something soft.
It wasn't that bad as I didn't hurt myself, but when I looked up, I suddenly felt really bad. I had walked into a girl in front of me, who by the looks of it, was rubbing her head.
"C-crap. I'm so sorry!" I stuttered.
I took a better look at the girl and saw her facial features. To say she wasn't beautiful was a lie. Her eyebrows were knitted together as she saw me. Her dress looked like it was made from an expensive fabric as she wore it freely. Her brunette hair seemed to flow down the side of her head.
"No worries! I should apologise as well for day dreaming" she replied giving me a smile.
My heart literally melted at the smile as I gave my feeble attempt at a smile. I looked around and saw that I was right in front of Alyse' house.
"Well, I am really sorry about bumping into you, but I better go." As I apologised once more.
"Yeah, I better go as well." She chuckled a bit.
I said a quick goodbye then I turned right, walked towards the apartment entrance and opened the door. I was still thinking about the girl I just met. Those gorgeous features of hers, I still remembered her blue eyes that seemed to sparkle. Well, I doubt I would ever get a girl like that.
I walked over to the elevators, went inside and pressed the 8th floor. Once I turned around to face the elevator doors, I was shocked...
...That girl who I just met was right in front of me.
"Uhh... hi!" I tried to strike up a conversation once again. "Do you live in this apartment?"
She smiled at me, "No, I'm meeting a friend. What about you?"
