Love Riot

I felt a tug on my sleeve and I slowly turned around, I saw her standing behind me. “What is it?” I asked in a whispering manner. “Do my assignment..” she replied.

 “Later?”

“Sure.”

“Deal.”

“Thank you Ted!~ “ She glomped on me and I sighed heavily knowing that there’s a lot of work to do again.

“Rab.. I’m tired.”

“No, you’re not.” She hissed

She was always so persuasive and pushy ever since we were still young. Yes, she’s my childhood friend, I don’t really regret having her as a friend, without her, I don’t think my life would be so fun. It all started in that science class.

/Flash back/

“Okay little munchkins, pair yourselves with one another we’ll have an activity.”  The teacher said trying to act cheerful

“Do you want to be my pair?” a girl with braces asked me

“Sure.” I replied shortly

Everyone ran to their crushes and friends to find their pair. The classroom was pretty big for 26 students so they looked like gas molecules bumping to each other.

“Since everyone has their beloved pairs, make a theory about how we humans were created. Use your imagination! Think outside box! I’ll give you 5 minutes to brain storm and then present your theory on the platform.” Butted in by the teacher

“So.. What will our theory be about?” she asked

“Aliens?”

“That’s too mainstream..” she complained

“What do you suggest?”

“What’s your favorite animal?”

“Rabbit..”  I answered hesitantly

“Why?”

“It’s a secret.”

There was a pair who was shouting at each other which made us look at them. They got scolded by the teacher, and because of that they’ll share their theory first in front which annoyed me.

“Fine. I like bears.” She said which made me turn my head and look at her

“Okaaay. So what do you suggest?”

“We came from rabbits and bears!”

This was a very stupid theory and I don’t know how to explain it in front of everyone, but our five minutes was up and we were the second one to share our theory.

“A long time ago.. There was a microorganism that was experimented by the angels because they were lonely. They made clays that could walk and bear fruit. They got too attached to their experiment and copulated with them, which resulted to Nephilims which is us the humans.“  the first pair shared.

It was acceptable than ours.. I can’t believe this stupidity. The teacher called us, I felt my heart race and my palm started to sweat, I looked at her, she looked so relaxed and comfortable I stood up and so did she, we went to the platform together.

“Our theory is about.. “

“Good morning ma’am and classmates” She butted in

I scratched the back of my head feeling annoyed. “Our theory is about..” she butted in again “Rabbits and Bears! Aidan, explain.”
