A/N
Picture of the gown that Asher got for Annabel. It's the night of the mascaraed dance, and jus looking at the beautiful black dress Asher got me made my nerves spike through the roof. We had been on five dates so far, and each one was better than the last. At first, Ash wanted to take me to the dance for our first date, but again they postponed the event. So we just decided to go to a movie and eat dinner afterwards.
The second date, he took me to a county fair a couple towns over, where he won me a gigantic stuffed polar bear. We also rode a Ferris wheel, and to my surprise it stopped at the top, where Ash gave me a sweet and gentle kiss. On our third date, he took me to an ice skating rink, where we skated and drank hot chocolate. I hadn't ice skated in a while so he had to hold me hand through most of it, but I don't think either of us were complaining. For our fourth date, he took my to a corn maze, one that wasn't scary or anything, but was fun. We carved pumpkins and even lit candles to put inside them. And finally, for our fifth date, he took my to this place in the woods. It was kinda creepy, but by the time we got to our destination, I could care less about the haunted forest. It was a midnight picnic with candles and a big blanket laying on the ground. The sky was full of stars, millions of twinkling lights, blinking and some were shooting stars. And the best part? There was a metier shower that night, and it was probably the most beautifulest thing I've ever seen.
Ash had said that tonight would be considered a date. I agreed to it, but even though we've had a few dates, I feel very nervous about this one. That something....something big is going to happen.
"Hey-" Mum walked in, a small box in her hand, but stopped walking-and talking-when she saw me.
"Is it that bad?"
"You look...." She chocked up.
"I knew this wasn't a-"
"No!" She said, coming towards me with the box in hand. "You look...beautiful."
I smiled, before asking, "What's in the box?"
"Open it." I did as she said, and inside the little black box was a white mask, with black diamonds all around it. But, around the eyes, there were emerald green jewels. Just looking at the beautiful green color, my mind thought of Asher, and his hypnotizing emerald green eyes. To hold it in place, on each side were black silk ribbons, matching my hair color perfectly.
"It's amazing," I whisper. "Thank you, Mum. For everything."
"Don't thank me. It's the least I could do." She gave me a hug before putting my hair up into a half-do, where she put the top half of my hair into a French braid, then tide the silk black strips under the braid. She then started putting white diamonds all in my hair, like little clips, until it almost looked like a see through vail. After that I put on my shoes, which were black studied combat boots that went about three inches above my ankle. Mum laughed at this, but the dress touched the floor, so no one would see my feet anyways.
"When is he coming?"
"Around eight."
"It's seven thirty!" She said with worry.
"And?"
"You haven't done your make up!"
"I'm only-"
"I'm doing it." She interrupted. I sighed, but nodded none the less. She sat my in front of the bathroom mirror, and proceeded to do my face. It took all thirty minutes, and the whole time she wouldn't let me see it. But when she was done, she couldn't spin me around fast enough to see.
My skin was done with a light cote of concealer, then a little foundation. My eyes hade this really pretty look. Towards the beginning of my eyes were a light grey color, before fanning out and going darker until it was black. My eye lashes seemed to be longer than I remember, but none the less they were very pretty. For once...I thought I looked pretty all over.
