I believe this song means that, whoever you chose to be with for the rest of your life, is the same person who will will reflect who you are; not because they're showing it directly, but because it's the outcome of you treating them with love, respect, loyalty, and honesty.
To me, this song really describes what true love should be. Your lover should be a mirror, reflecting the connections between the two. They reflect the love you give them, making them love you unconditionally. They reflect the respect you give them, making them treat you with the same or more respect you have towards them. They reflect the loyalty you show them, letting them know that he/she is the only person whom you love with no doubt. And last but not least, they reflect the honesty you give them. Everything you say are truths, just how your lover would speak to you with just truth.
