Chapter 1

Alyx's POV

I hate first days of school. They are always the worst. I just moved to a new high school in California and I have no friends other than my family. I have an identical twin sister, Sarah, and 3 older brothers, Connor, Austin, and Jordan, two older step sisters, Erica and Brittany, and a younger step brother, Trey. I have a really big family. My parents are divorced and my dad is remarried to a wonderful woman, whom I love dearly. Sarah, Connor, Austin, and I all live with our mom and Jordan, Brittany, Erica, and Trey all live with our dad and step mom. Sarah and I live half with our mom and half with our dad. We have a crazy schedule. Both my parents now live in Encino, California. My dad has lived here for a while but my mom decided to move us out here so we won't be so distant from our dad.

Today is Sarah and I's first day of junior year. We just turned 16 and got our licenses and we share a matte white hard top jeep. Jordan is a senior. Erica, Connor, Austin, and Brittany all graduated already. Trey is still kinda little though, he is in 7th grade.

We are a very active family. Brit didn't play a sport. Connor played baseball, Austin played hockey, Erica played basketball, Jordan played baseball, football, and he runs track, and Trey plays football. Sarah and I though, we are kind of different. We play football. On all guys teams. It is our passion and that is what we love to do.

I woke up at 5 to start getting ready for my first day of school. My outfit is black high waisted ripped skinny jeans with a loose white crop top and a blue jean shirt to wrap around my waist. I curled my long brown hair and did winged eyeliner. And I wore my white vans. When I was all ready it was about 6:30 and I put my one notebook in my backpack and my few pencils. I have a white vans backpack that i love. White is my favorite 'color'. I grab my charger, ear buds, gum and put it in my backpack and I run down the stairs.

When I get downstairs, i see Sarah wearing a blue skater skirt with a white tight crop top and white low ride converse(the outfit on the right above). She also had her long brown hair curled and her makeup was literally just like mine.

She got me a bowl of yogurt and tossed me a banana.

"Hey are you ready for school?" Sarah asked me.

"Physically, yes. Mentally, no. The only reason I want to go to school is because I'm excited for tryouts." I say.

"Same. I can't wait to actually make friends that aren't family. I mean, dont get me wrong, I love all of my siblings, but I can't wait to make some new friends at school." Sarah says.

"Same. I am ready for the school scene to finally change." I say.

Sarah and I walk into the school and go to the main office to get our schedules printed off. While we were waking in, people were staring at us and whispering. We passed the football sign up sheets and it was almost full. We stopped to put our names on the sheet and another guy with bleach blonde hair walks up to the sign up sheets too.

"Hey I haven't seen you two before. I'm Cole. Are you guys interested in playing football?" The guy with the blonde hair says.

"Yeah. We love playing football. Do you play too?" I respond.

"Yeah i do. I'm defensive middle lineman. What do you two play?" He asks.
