Timily Short was 13 at the time. She had just said goodbye to her friends and had started walking home from school. She plugged her earbuds in and started listening to Queen-We are the Champions. She needed to block out evrything else. Music was her only escape from her parents, the bullies, her life. She was three blocks away from her house. She hadn't even noticed the black Lincon that had been following her since she left school. While she was walking a boy on a bike rode past her and her earbud got caught on his handle bar. both earbuds fell out of her ears, and as she bent down to pick them up one of the men in the car jumped out and grabbed her. She screamed but the man his hand over her mouth. The other man got out of the car and pulled a small spray bottle out of his pocket. She didn't know what was in it. The man sprayed the liquid in her nose and as she breathed in..she passed out.
