As I waited with Joe and James we had just came to a point in our conversation were we had nothing else to say. I noticed my self in the reflection of a window.

"Goodness, I'm getting fat!" I said.

James laughed but then he was quiet when Joe gave him a serious look.

"Don't worry, I'm not offended."

"It's not that..." he muttered. "I need to tell you some thing."

I stood confused while Joe told James to leave the room. Joe held my hands and sat me onto a sofa.

"Mell, there's something that I should have told you earlier..."

"What it is it? What happened?" I asked.

"When I was fixing you up on our way here I had figured something that is...." Joe paused for a second. "You're pregnant!"

"What?" I yelled jumping out of my seat. "I thought you just cleaned my wound and stitched me up?"

"No, I had to get the bullet out of you and it turned out to be poisonous and it had infected a 'non important' organ. While I was removing it I found... "

"Don't say any more, I believe you." I said. Pacing back and forth nervously.

James knocked on the door an opened it without waiting for us to say 'come in'

"So, how'd she take it?" he asks Joe.

"I'm actually not sure yet." Joe replied.

I had sat back down and just sighed. Thinking to myself how am I going to deal with this. A child? But how? Was it when...

I looked back at Joe and James. "It's when you got me dunk right?" I guessed.

They both nodded. Joe sat next to me and he pulled me into a hug. "I'm sorry Mell" he said.

"Don't be sorry, I'm actually very happy." Joe looked up to me as I nodded, then he hugged me tighter.

"Well, that escalated quickly." said James

Soon enough, Nova had called for us to the 'Pilots Deck'. Once we got there I had saw so many other aliens work together to fly one huge ship as they yelled commands to each other across the room. Up here it seemed that the ship flew more smoothly and flawlessly. Humans can't really do this without arguing or talking back or... let's just say that humans don't do so good with being told what to do.

"Nice team work you have up here." I complimented.

"Cooperation and respect for one another is one thing that our race has strictly passed down for generations."

"What is your race called anyway?" James asked.

"We traditionally don't assign names to intelligent individuals other than objects and creatures." Nova explained. "That is until we met Humans, then names were required since it was hard to communicate without them. They called us ETs, but I don't know what that could mean in your language though."

"It means Extra Terrestrials." I said.

Nova looked at me with a puzzled expression. "Well that makes a lot more sense." she said. "Now let's get to what I summoned you for. I need to know what land of earth you are from. Take a look at this hologram and just point it out for the main pilot."

We walked up to another alien who was sitting comfortably in a huge chair surrounded by holographic key boards and screens. He pressed random buttons with symbols that I had no idea what they meant. When the globe pulled up I pointed to America and it zoomed in, then I kept zooming in until I got to the rocket launch pad for NASA.

"Is it safe to land here?" Nova asked.

"NASA is gonna be so shocked that they won't even have time to put their shoes on!" laughed James.

Again! another one of his stupid jokes that hardly makes sense.

"Yes, it should be safe. There happens to be a new rule were arms are strictly prohibited within the surrounding area. No matter who you are, or what your told."

"Wow, what caused that rule?" asked the pilot, who's over hearing our conversation.

"Let's just say that it escalated quickly too." Replied James.

"Thank you for your help." said Nova. "Pilot, how long until we breach our destination?"

"An hour exactly, ma'm."

That was our que to leave the work to the professionals. "We should get our things." said James once we left the room. "What things, we didn't come with anything!" James then pulled out the amulet that we used to open the doors a while back. "Were did you get that?" I fumed. "It fell out of Earth's pocket while we were taking him to the hospital, so I picked it up." "I'll take it to Nova, you guys go on ahead." I suggested.

As they walked away I walked back onto the pilots deck over to Nova. I pulled out the amulet and placed it into her hand without saying a word. She knew what it was and I could tell that she was very grateful. She gave me a huge meaningful hug and began to sob a little.

"I cannot thank you enough for what you have done for my people an my Husband. We are forever in you debt."
