+ always act like you're the shit because some boys think they could play/ step on you, but you're too good for that
+mild contact (ie if he wants your number write it on his hand, brush your leg against his leg if you're sitting together, etc)
+ be genuine
+ if a boy texts you to ask you out, tell him to try again. No one deserves to be asked out over the phone or by their friend; you deserve love letters, flowers, etc
+ if they try to make plans with you the day of or day before, don't because you'll probably look desperate, but if he's making plans because he ACTUALLY wants to see/ be with you then sure :)
+ don't have the mindset that all boys are garbage, some of them are really really sweet (but not like the ones in books and tv shows...)
+ remember you shouldn't rush things you want to last forever
+ call him by his name (like when you greet him say "hey Ryder" or something) because it always makes someone feel good when you remember their name
+ have common interests
+ don't bend for them. if he lies, cheats, or does anything you aren't cool with, don't change your rule for him and leave
+ be chill don't be extra
+ keep them guessing; do not be an open book
+ boys like getting flowers and letters too
+ just because everyone else is in relationship does not mean you have to be in one too. you do not need any boy or girl to complete you
