New Crush?

First Day

(Lucy's POV)

Breath In.  Breath out.  Breath in.  Breath out.

I walk, eyes closed.  Mixed emotions twirl and swirl in my stomach.  Excitement.  Fear.  Adventure.  Worry.  Sadness.  All  jumbled together.  They don't go away.  They taunt me.  Making me feel alone.  Making me feel different.  Making me want what I had lost.

I stop and think.  No point in being sad.  I'm starting a new life.  Put a smile on, no one is going to like you if you are so gloomy.  First impressions are very important.  First Day... here I come!

I open my eyes.  A whirl wind of colors surround me.  The laughter of teenagers.  The cherry blossom petals scattering around the school.  The vast blue sky wishing me luck.  The bright sun blinding me.  A school made from stone.  The shiny, metal gates that await me.  Everything looks so vivid and lively.  

I can't help but smile.  Everything here at Fairy Tail High makes me feel alive.  It's beautiful.

I know that ring tone... it's Levy!  How could I have forgotten, I'm not completely alone.  I have Levy, Cana, Alzack, and Evergreen!  They all went to Saber Tooth Middle School.  

Agh... STMS (Saber Tooth Middle School).  How I'm going to miss that school.  Especially the people...

Suddenly, a tall guy with pink hair bumps into me.  Wait, what.  Pink hair?  Causing me to come back from my thoughts and into the present.  It didn't hurt. 

"Sorry..."  I say in a politely awkward way.

"Why are you apologizing to me?" asks the pink haired male.  I look up, into his eyes... they are so dreamy.  A slight chuckle is heard from him.

"Oh... umm.  Well, I was- well, yeah, um wasn't paying attention..."  I say embarrassed while my fingers grab one another.  As though it would help me out in this embarrassing situation.  Dammit, Lucy!  Don't get embarrassed whenever you see a hot guy.

"It's cool.  See ya!"  he says disappearing into the crowd before me.  

Oh.  My.  God.  He was so hot.  I fangirl internally... he looked like a model.  His long, skinny, but fit frame.  His adorable chuckle.  But, his hair.  Why is his hair pink?  Also, his eyes were so pretty.  They were brown, but green at the same time.  They looked like a precious stone.  OMG, and don't even get me started on those adorable dimples.  *faints*

Pushing that embarrassing moment to the back of my mind, I continue toward the humongous gates that are the entrance to FTHS (Fairy Tail High School).  

Realizing I didn't opened Levy's text.  I grabbed my phone and read what she sent me. "LLLUUUCCCYYYYY!!!!!  I'm so nervous. OMG!  There are sosososososo many ppl here.  Help! I'm sitting on some stairs near the bike racks... it's like to the left of the gate!?!?  U better get here soon!"

I giggle.  This is just so... so Levy.  

Levy- my best friend since 1st Grade.  She is a HUGE bookworm, extremely short, cute, has blue hair, smartest person I know, so understanding, and HILARIOUS!

Making it to the gate, I turn left and see my little blue haired best friend.  She is totally letting out the "New Kid" vibe.  I suppress my laughs and decide to scare her.  Creeping up behind her.  Almost ready to pounce.   When I get near her neck she says in her smart ass way "Lucy.  I could hear you from a mile away.  Your breathing is so loud." 

UGHGH I let out.  It's not fair!!!!!!  She always scares me!  

I sit next to her and give my best mad pouty face.  To show my anger and sadness she has brought upon my maiden soul! (I'm being dramatic *LOL*).  She just laughs, and asks "Wait.  Tell me your schedule again, I kinda forgot."  I gave her the "for real" face... and she plays it off with an "I love you too".  Letting that slide, because (and this sounds really bad), I still don't know her birthday!  Heck!  I just barely memorized my dads birthday... let's just say I'm REALLY bad at memorizing/ remembering things.
