Your name is Tim Istgeld. You have four friends, however they will be met later in the story. You own a computer and a phone, as well as 14 years of your life spent.
You try to be careful with your "money" in this world, quite literally, as they say, "Time Is Money", and you have a feeling your name has something to do with that phrase.
You often blame your past self on things that you do wrong just so it doesn't make you feel as bad. You enjoy thinking about time travel and timelines often, as you believe they are the main cause for stuff occurring in this universe.
Suddenly, a random box appears in your room, there's a tag on it reading, "From 2050, 23 years in the future." You aren't very surprised by it, this kind of stuff happens often.
You open the box to find a book, you read the synopsis before immediately just trashing it. People don't read books anymore, so why should you?
