Blissful sleep can never come to me. Whether it's the noises outside or the thoughts in my head keeping me awake I can never tell. The soft hum of a fan is the only sound attempting to lull me into a false sense of security and help me drift off.
It's not that I don't want to sleep. It's just the damn noises keeping me up. The neighbour blaring his music and the voices screaming louder and louder. Tonight is the night I snap though. I get up and walk to the door where I hear this abomination vibrating out the door.
I knock loudly on the door and it flys open so I can see what's going on clearly; blood everywhere.
A man is dead by my feet and another is dead further inside. It's horrifying to say the least bit at the same time rather soothing. Like the voices that have been taunting me are pleased with this horrific sight. There's a girl peering towards me with a smile and then just whispers over the music, 'it's done.' I blink and she's gone. Leaving me to wonder if this is a dream or just the silent wish I helped in this.
