"ok...bye." The small voice on the other line broke Tye's heart. His sister never cried and with just telling her where he was and what was going on had her breaking down.  Hanging up the phone he sighed falling onto tthe bed. Tye groaned mentally slapping himself. He knew he had to go. Camera's where in the room and the phones where tapped. Dragging himself from the bed Tye tossed his meager amount of belongings into his bag. It held a few changes of clothes, his wallet with only about $200 left, a small picture of his sister, a picture of Him, His twin and their old dog Tyson, and a meager amount of food. Packing hadnt taken as long as he had thought it would, but that was good. He wanted to check out of the hotel as quickly as possible. The only problem was he had been using the hotels phone to talk to her. His sister. One of his best friends. Micki. He had promised her he would get home to her soon, safe and sound. Snatching the Hotel's key's of the table he slung his bag over his shoulder. Glancing at the clock he grumbled seeing the time. 1:24. Still muttering cursing he tromped down the stairs to the front desk. Silently handing the man behind the desk his key, he dug around for the money. "Have a nice stay? A bit late tonight to leave don't you think?" The man said glancing at Tye. Was he paraniod or did Tye see a hint of deception hidden in the mans eye's. Narrowing his eyes Tye replied "I have to bbe some where so figured get an early start." Finnaly finding the appropriat amount of cash he snatched up his change and headed out of the hotel. Breaking into a sprint as soon as he was out of site, Tye ducked into the forest. As he slipped over fallen branches and moved around bramble bushes he began thinking over all the lies he had told recently, countering the one's he'd been told. Do you know where you're brother is? Tye's responce: No. Where were you last night? At home talking with my friend on the phone. Are you ok? Yes im fine. Do you need help? No im ok. So many lies in such little time. They would slip out of his mouth easily and at times he could even lie to himself and believe it was true. Ashamed he admitted now that he'd taken to lying to Micki as well. For the longest time he'd lie to her saying one excuse or another as to why he was never home, or why he couldnt hang out that night. She'd stopped asking long ago. Now it was all about his brother. "Can alex hang out tonight?" Or "Ask allex if he can come with me and some friends." He had gotten jealous. Thats why he was on the run. He'd let his envy take hold of him and he made his brother...Disapear. Silently he shook the dark thoughts from his head and continued his walk. Noting the noticable drop in temperature he shivered slightly, pulling his jacket around his body tightly. Breath coming in little puffs of cold clouds he continued wondering how far he was from the border. Just as he paused to pull out his small map, the sound of a twig snap caused him to tense. "hey you!" Hearing the voice he took off in a run scrambling as quick as he could over bushes. Leaping over a fallen tree branch Tye slid to a stop. In front of him stretched a deep gorge, at least a 50 foot drop just to the next ledge. Hearing his pursuer closing in on him he did the only thing he could do. He jumped. Closing his eyes shutting out the other persons screams he plunged down, heading for the ground below.
