The House

"Well, this is it." He said. "Follow me to your new room, please." He bowed his head then looked up and smiled. I followed him as he led me down the hall.

The room was the perfect size. Not too small, not too big. It had a bed in the corner, a bedside table beside the bed, and a drawer in the other corner of the room. There were two other doors next to it. One had a sign that read 'Bathroom' and the other had one that read 'Closet'.

"Do you like it?" He asked. "Of course I do!" I said excitedly. 

"It used to be my older sisters. She died about 2 years ago. She was 24 years old." He said.

"Have you heard the story about the missing Princess of England? She disappeared 8ish years ago. Whenever I talk about my sister, the missing Princess pops into my head because my sister, when she was younger would act like a Princess." He laughed, looking out the window like he could see her acting like a Princess at that exact moment. "You also remind me about the Princess. You even kinda look like her. Oh yes, I didn't catch your name. My names Mason."

"My names Celeste. And that's the thing, I AM the missing Princess. I just escaped from the prison I was staying in. A man named Goldern put me there, tortured, I guess, information out of me..."

"Uhm, wow. That's alot to take in... so you're REALLY the missing Princess? Why didn't you tell me?" Mason said, his eyes confused and looking hurt, even though I just met him.

"Well, I didn't know you wanted to know...You never asked..."

"Awh, shoot. I... have to go. You stay here and fix the room however you like it... I'll be back soon. I just need to make a quick...phone call." He rushed out the door in a snap.

I stared at the door as it slammed shut. "I guess I'm here alone. Alone again."

"RUFF!" barked Mr.Puddles. "Okay, I'm here alone with YOU. Is that better?" "RUFF!"
