My Excitement

Chapter One

I hear a loud ringing sound and fall off my bed. I lay on the ground tired as hell. I look at my dresser from the ground, then all around my room etc. It takes me a few minutes to get up and turn off that damn alarm clock. I take my phone and look at the time. It says 8:20 am, I should probably start getting ready for school. I slowly walk to my dresser to get some clothes. I throw on my school uniform then put on a black sweat jacket.
I start walking down stares to leave, but then quickly glance at my living room to see my father spread across the couch sleeping with alcohol bottles around him. "He probably got drunk again.." I mumble to my self before I head out the door.
As I'm walking down the side walk I look at my surroundings, the sidewalk, trees, neighbors and grass. "Sigh" I let out, everything is the same, school, classmates, walking this path, going home to the same drunk ass father everyday. It all doesn't matter anymore anyway.
I start to speed walk because I'll probably be late to school if I don't. As I'm speed walking I brush past this girl and accidentally push her down. I mumble the word "Sorry" quickly then start walking again.
As I'm walking I hear the same girl yelling behind me saying "HEY YOU! COME BACK HERE AND APOLOGIZE!". I turn back around and see her sitting on the ground. She must not have gotten back up yet. I start walking back then properly apologize "I'm sorry for pushing you down, good day." as I'm turning back around I feel the girl grab my uniform, then say "Wait, what's your name?", "Yuichiro" I respond.
"Well Yuu-san, you're gonna carry me to school." she says smirking.
"Ehhh?! I already apologized, what else do you want from me?!" I yell back.
"Well a proper gentleman would help a lady up when she falls, and it seems, you didn't do that. And sense you were so rude, instead of carrying me, you're gonna carry me to school."
It seems I won't get out of this one, she seems like the stubborn type..
I bend down and say, "Here, get on my back so why get then over with alright?". She happily jumps on my back still smirking. As I'm walking to school with her on my back, she says "By the way, my name is Shinoa Hiragi"
"Well Shinoa, this was a bad idea. What if someone sees us? Why haven't even known each other for five minutes and people might already think we're dating!"
"It's your fau~lt. Besides, most people will just think I just hurt my foot so your carrying me to school."
She is kinda right about that. I decide to stay quiet because I'm afraid if I talk too much she might do something else..
We finally get to the school and I quickly let her off my back so people won't see us. Once she's off my back she turn around in front of me looking up at me. 'She's really short' I think to myself. As Shinoa is looking up at me, she does a bright smile and says "Thank you for carrying me to school Yuu-san", then she turns around and starts walking heading to her class. I also start walking to class with a light blush on my face.
