(POV Garrett Potter)
I thought this year was going to be like any old year for me,but this year was different. I'm 11 now and instead of playing Quidditch out in my back-yard it was lectures from my father. "Now Garrett we need to go to Diagon Alley to pick up your books, a wand, and a cauldron for Hogwarts." He said.
I got a letter from professor Mc.Gonnall yesterday and since then my father and mum have been way too exited. My dad and mum both want me in Gryffindor because, when they where little they where in that house together. All I know is that they definitely don't want me in Slytherin because, he-who-should-not-be-named was in that house, otherwise I'm fine with the hats decision.
