Kana Nicklauson was a ray of sunshine, with a kind warm smile and the voice of a singing bird, everything about her was loving and lively, and like a ray of sunshine people were afraid to get too close in the fear of getting burned.

Kana Moved to Idaho for school and to be close to friends who no longer talk to her since they have boyfriends their boyfriends saw that Kana wasn't someone they would want to hangout with, causing Kanas friends to also in more ways than one abandon her.

"Kana....." a voice whispered quietly next to her head.

"what is it?" I said turning over violently smacking someones arm.

"OUCH!" I got up quickly startled.

"who, What, Where?" I yelled out startled. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to, I promise." My roommate started laughing because of my freak out and once I got my bearings I started laughing as well once we caught our breath we got up and got ready I was okay friends with most of my roommates, and they all knew I sometimes slept through my alarm and would make sure I got up in time to get to class.

I dressed in jeggings, a light green tank top With a Plaid button up only done up halfway, with Mokasins. I grabbed my patchwork hobo bag, a piece of bread then headed out the door towards my first class of the day Elementary Education 202.

The day went by really slowly and once I finished my last class of the day I made my way to a nearby park sat down in the shade of a tree and pulled out my Harry Potter book, plugging my headphones into my phone turning on my favorite Musical soundtrack, Moulin Rouge as I was reading, families came and went at a steady rate, I barely noticed till there were a pair of legs standing in my peripheral after a moment I finally looked up to see Andrew, he was in my math class and was kind of my boyfriend, not officially but that's what everyone called him, we were always flirting  but neither of us were outspoken enough to ever actually ask the other out.

"Excuse me miss, but is this seat taken?" He asked gesturing to the grassy spot next to me.

"I don't know, I was saving it for a cute boy." I said and winked at him, he smiled.

"You were expecting me then?" He asked sitting down and leaning his back against the tree. "So Kana I was thinking if you aren't busy tomorrow maybe we could go to breakfast?" I smiled as he ran his long fingers through his shoulder length blonde hair, it was technically against the dress code but he always had it pulled back nicely so all the school officials let it slide, and I was very happy about that I loved his hair.

"I would love that Andrew." He leaned his head back, his hair brushing my shoulder lightly. This was nice, I was suprised that he had actually asked me out.

"Kana?" He said, dreamily.

"Yes?" He looked over at me.

"This spot, it's very relaxing." I nodded, I put my book mark in the warn out pages of my Harry Potter book, and then paused my music and put my phone away.

"It is, isn't it." I moved into a lying position hands under my head, and took a deep breath, he moved resting his head on my arm. We had laid like this before so that wasn't the weird part, the weird part was how casual I felt about him asking me out, I feel as if my heart should be beating uncontrollably but it was steady.

"Andrew, why now? Why have you only just asked me out?" He shrugged rolled over and smiled.

"Because I never felt like I needed to, I felt like we were always going on dates, like these kinds of things where we lay around and talk all afternoon, but I had a little owl dropped me a letter telling me that I should ask you out. I was astonished that they didn't know. Is it bad of me that I thought of us practically in a relationship already." I thought for a moment and realized that, that was the reason I didn't feel nervous, neither of us being outspoken left us both guessing, at what we were, I leaned my head in towards him and connected my lips to his, I felt his lips pull into a smile under mine, he then wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me on top of him I pulled away slightly.

"So what's the plan boyfriend?" He chuckled and placed his hand on the back of my neck pulling me back to him, the park was empty so we continued making out for a good half hour when I pulled away and sat back against the tree, a smile spread across my lips. "I gotta head back, I need to study for math tomorrow." Andrew shrugged stood up and then helped me get up once on my feet he gain pulled me to him I wrapped my fingers in his hair pulling him closer to me, there was no way our bodies would ever be close enough. I again practiced control and pulled away, this time I turned grabbed my stuff and headed back towards my dorm.

"Goodnight beautiful." I heard him say quietly as I crossed the street I looked back to see if he was still there but he was gone, and I finally let out a sigh. And made my way into the apartment building.

I studied till 9:00 p.m. ate a bowl of cereal cleaned up, took a shower and went to bed.
