He was tiny,
a sweet little creature.
Never hurt a fly,
an endless amount of love to give.
Little floppy black and white ears perked up
and soft little paw steps
came rushing towards the door
every time it was opened.
In the morning
a little wet, black nose
prodded at my face,
a pink tongue licked it.
Big brown eyes
stared as I ate dinner,
a tiny tongue lapped at my fingers
when I snuck him my food.
A little fluffy tail wagged
when I can home from school
and hugged him.
A chunky, fuzzy body curled up next to me
when I went to sleep.
